As much as I enjoy Disco, they always stick the landing and come up with the lamest ending. That in mind, I think after the last episode, we'll discover that the anomaly with be created by the doctor's experiment getting out of control.

My mind immediately went to the Woman that appeared in "The End of Time" two-parter, when the Woman popped up at the end of the episode. I know it's been 10+ years, but I started to wonder, if we were finally going to get an ID on the character.

In my head cannon Rose ultimately rejects the Metcrisis Doctor, leading to him becoming the Valeyard (where he fits perfectly between the last and second last regenerations). It's a bit fanwank, but that's what head cannon is for.
