Shelf space is a precious commodity in my house. I personally don't appreciate over-sized boxes for my video discs.I never understood why these beautiful field equipment boxes remained limited to PAL territories.

Did Enterprise air in those languages? If the language tracks exist, excluding them doesn't make sense. But if CBS would need to pay to have them translated and recorded from scratch, I can see why they wouldn't bother.Considering that Enterprise BDs have been "downgraded" for seasons 3&4 language-wise because of insufficient sales figures (in certain countries?), it feels like the whole remastering process is calculated on the financial edge (of not being profitable enough).

Yes, I used to have my Star Trek DVDs stored that way (using those same covers) but the Blu-ray packaging takes up much less shelf space and it's wonderful. My future blu-rays will continue to fit and look great in these:

Any more news yet?
They must be well into working on TNG S7 now, so they will either have to start DS9 soon for an early 2015 release, or say they aren't doing it...?
TNG is in the process of wrapping right now. Another week or so left to finalize stuff with "All Good Things"
So are we looking at a December release, or will they be able to release it sooner?

There are no plans to remaster Deep Space Nine at present.

No plans as in a definitive "no plans" from someone on the inside, or just literally no-one has said anything?
TAS should get a blu-ray release should be sooner than later. There's already an HD version of it available through streaming.
