Love for Riker in a show sometimes derided as "TNG Lite"?

    Surely, you can't be serious!

The Romulans never would have allowed Riker to take command.

In Eye of the Needle, 2351, they learnt that they were safe for the next 20 years so long as a lot of moving pieces they had a vague idea about kept moving towards Janeway's Voyager being Lost in the Delta Quadrant.

    Predestined invulnerability.

Janeway spoke openly that the Romluan Empire was strong and intact, and to them that must likely be something worth protecting, and probably why in Voy: Inside Man that Barclay said that the Romulans had always been interested in Voyager.

Oddly enough it was the Cardassians who used this information to their advantage to send a cloaked ship to the Delta Quadrant and steal Caretaker technology, which didn't seem to help them at all win the Dominion War.

Fat Riker in a speedo chasing Neelix on the holodeck. We might have found a universe where C7 makes sense.

    "TNG Lite" ...
    :rommie: >>SNORT!!!<<

If not for VOYAGER, we'd never have had the amazingly amazing 2 parter (!!!) episode: FUTURE'S END. I just love it, so much, that whatever else VOYAGER had on offer or did to get ratings is fine with me. Jonathan Frakes even made a guest appearance, once! Not too shabby ...

If the programmer says that the holobeach on display is a nude beach, do the crewmen have to comply?

Henry Starling took it easy on Janeway because he wanted to tap that.

"Captain Riker" would have been dead by the second act.

I am planning to holo my flab away.

Last night after watching all three GoT's from this season I dreamt I was wandering around a GoT scene completely nude with zero embarrassment and my stomach was completely flat which I noted in the dream with a certain amount of approval. So this holo nudity with built in photoshop is something I've already test run and it is awesome.

I'm betting this sells like hotcakes at Betazoid weddings, especially to offworlders.

Hmmm...think maybe some of the Stealth Haze from post #87 of this thread leaked out a tad bit...

I had a very vivid dream the other night that I was in a holodeck-like scenario (i.e. basically playing a living video game). I was in some Final Fantasy-type scenario. As soon as I realized I was on a "holodeck" I went to town and started kissing all the girls. It was awesome.

Last night I dreamt I was trapped in a Lost situation being held on an island by three sociopaths. I kept reentering the dream further along in time so gradually the sociopaths either died or gave up and integrated into the group of people they were holding as equals. The food also improved from nuts and fruits to meals with fish in them. There were cats in the original dream and by dream 4 we were being rescued and taking the descendant kittens with us. Each time there was a time skip I had to ask my fellow captives what was going on now.

I still remember the incredibly vivid Star Trek dream I had when I was 14 and had a high fever. I was on the bridge of the Enterprise and Captain Kirk was speaking to me.. I woke up and thought "that is the best dream I will ever have in my life."

This part sounds like a little bit like Threshold with cats instead of salamanders, and any episode where Janeway's timehopping and has to be brought up to date after each commercial break.

Yeah. I love time travel anything, but especially to the future.
