What games are you playing currently?

Played some FF X tonight, had some fun training. Now I'm playing some Pokémon X. Wonder Traded some Charmanders to some random people and am now shiny hunting.

Current playing Alpha Centauri.

... and very amused by the continued snatching-defeat-from-the-jaws-of-victory act that is Electronic Arts. They offered the original Dead Space on Origin as a free promotion, and presumably a gateway drug to all their wonderful current games. Great idea, and I might have been playing it right now, and maybe even thinking about buying the latest Dead Space game they're promoting! Except surprise surprise, their proprietary installer is f***ing broken and will not run. I honestly do no understand how a company that's that much of a s**tshow stays in business. Guess I'll just keep on staying well away from EA games!

Civilization III. I'm playing as the Byzantines and was hoarding literature so no one could beat me to the Great Library. For a spate of a dozen turns or so I'd have Persia, Rome, the Hittites, etc, all demanding I give up "Literature" or face their armies. Then Gandhi showed up wanting to trade it for polytheism. So polite -- it's a shame I have to annex his nation or be left behind by the ginormous Romans and Persians.

To be fair, I'm the only reason he HAS a nation. I saved his only city from being conquered by a stack of Hittite warriors early on, and since then they've declared war on me THREE TIMES. We just got into the medieval era.

Arkham Origins: Cold, Cold Heart.

Just downloaded it last night, and I'm having a blast! I was due for a dose of Batman.

^ I spent a hundred hours playing Skyrim on my PS3 back when it was released. ;) I stopped when I got the Platinum trophy.

Playing a lot of the Feed the Beast HatPack mod with a friend on the Hatfilms server.

Meh, it's not so bad. It sure as hell is not as bad as an MMO. At any point, you can just hit pause/hard-save and get on with other stuff. ;)

Funny, I picked up Skyrim about six months ago as well, but haven't had the time to take it for a spin.

Currently, I'm maddeningly stuck on Batman Origins, an am thinking I'll have to employ my skillz in Google-fu, which is generally forbidden by the DBR Gaming Code of Conduct.

Just brought 3 new ps3 games which I will be starting tomorrow or Monday, they are fallout new vegas, ghost warrior sniper 2 and heavy fire shattered spear
