If you've never seen Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train, watch it and marvel how much Robert Walker, Jr. looks like his father (who died at 32).

There are only two episodes of TOS that I consider "embarrassing", "And the Children Shall Lead" and "Plato's Stepchildren".

This is just dumb as fuck from the non-sense tachyon web to Sela. Just a miserable conclusion to what was a moderately interesting first part.

I appreciate what they were trying to accomplish here, but I find the episode tedious.

Star Trek Into Darkness on EPIX. Still an incredibly fun movie to watch.

    ^^ Ditto.
You'd think that Scotty could track them once Kirk made the communicator call. And beam the three of them up once they were alone in their cell.
Sort of like when they tracked Plasas and beamed him away without a communicator lock.

I really like this one. One of the better fifth season outings. Though I get the feeling Data is "sticking it" to Dr. Mar at the end of the episode.

I cannot help but sympathize with Salish. Kirk/Kirok is the usurper ... taking everything away from this poor man - his title, his status ... his woman!!! And it's not like any of this is going to go unnoticed by the rest of the tribe. This is Humiliations Galore, for Salish. And when he finally stalks Kirok with a knife and draws blood, I hate to say it, but I'm siding with Salish! And the real tragedy, of course, is this is all just a really big misunderstanding. Shatner seems to be enjoying himself a little too much, though, when he's kissing up the actress playing Miramanee. She doesn't seem to be digging it, but she took it like a champ, though ...

Overall, I liked it. There were some clunky bits and the look is very 80s, but some excellent acting, the nice introduction to Pulaski, and a proper Sci Fi/Trek story saved it.

Recent viewings have me sometimes wondering if the real Ruth may be dead; Kirk seems more baffled by her presence than Finnegan's.
