I was a little put off by his "make him pay" statement. Seemed a little over the top. And if he's talking about Fury, does that mean Fury will play a major part in an upcoming episode?
He was talking about the Clairvoyant.

Did you watch Heroes? They were constantly building to epic super battles that either didn't take place or happened off-screen![]()
I didn't mean literally. I meant the overall greatness of the episode. The feel.

And that's exactly what I meant too. One can't expect the first episode of a series to be this strong, because the feel and impact of this episode came from the fact that we've had time to get to know the characters and the world, so that the story beats have more impact than they would have if we were just meeting this cast for the first time. Also the fact that the actors and writers have had time to learn their characters' voices and get a feel for their relationships and rapports.
She met the other Asgardian several times. The one with the berserker staff.Random observation: I don't know if it means anything, but unless I'm misremembering, at no point in this episode did Sif cross paths with Skye. Perhaps this is because if she did, Sif would have recognised Skye for what/who she is?
Marvel Entertainment have just announced that former "Heroes" star Adrian Pasdar will be joining the cast of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." for an upcoming episode of the TV series. Pasdar will play the role of Glenn Talbot in the series, a character that has long been a pain in the Hulk's side in the comics, but he'll be trading his green enemy for Agent Coulson and his team in the upcoming episode. Pasdar will debut as Talbot in an episode set to air this April. Check back here for more details on the episode as we learn them.
Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Glenn Talbot first appeared in Tales to Astonish #61 and went on to hunt down the Hulk in over 140 other issues of the popular series. He was previously played by Josh Lucas in the 2003 film Hulk.
Those are exceptions to the rule and I myself would dispute that AoS "took most of the season" to find itself. Then again, shows like Sleepy Hollow and Lost had great pilot episodes without taking most of a season to "invest in the characters".

That's like saying that because you're a commoner who's never been to Africa, you don't know what a giraffe or zebra looks like. She met the other Asgardian several times. He was a commoner who enlisted, went to Earth then stayed put for the better part of a millennia. Sif is considerably more well travelled across the nine realms and is probably better educated in the various peoples of the cosmos.
I really found both to be quite charismatic especially Lady Sif.And to add to that, neither Lorelei nor Sif were very compelling characters. It was sad to see Sif re-imagined as a generic angry warrior.
Yeah, there was that moment early on in the ep where Skye was fishing for a compliment from him, and he didn't even seem to notice. I like Skye fine, but I'd much rather he be interested in Simmons than her.And the offhand mention that May was not who Ward was thinking about-- we're supposed to think it was Skye, but I wonder.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. He was talking about the Clairvoyant.
I thought he was still talking about TAHITI and resurrection and alien juices. Why on Earth would Coulson hold Fury responsible for Skye's injuries?![]()

I think it'd be funny if Lorelei totally misread Ward on that. She's back on Asgard thinking "I wonder which one was Lola?"
