I felt Diggs was a little off this week. He seemed upset with Ollie right from the get go and it did not feel quite right.
Poor drug addled Laurel didnt have a good few days. Now she needs a new job, wonder if Queen is hiring these days.
Good to see Slade in full gear at the end. Looks very badass in that outfit.
Sin looked pretty hot in her dating dress.
Roy is just not going to end well.

Nah, Roy's being trained now. It's all good.

Hehe, I almost expected a "never rub another man's rhubarb" from Blood when they take Laurel.

Pretty good episode. Roy realizes with great power comes great responsibility. It's interesting to note how Laurel is the one portrayed as the druggie instead of Roy. Too bad she has failed to prove that Brother Blood is corrupt, but it's not over yet.

As for Slade, I don't get why he's furious at Ollie despite their history together. And if he wants Ollie dead, why not do the job himself?

Guessing things get worse in the island flashbacks between Ollie and Slade. And like Bane, he wants to break Ollie, not just kill him.

That was actually a well thought out plan by the villains to misdirect the heroes. Even something worthy of Xanatos.

Yeah, that 'Digg' about being open with their feelings seemed to come out of nowhere.

I liked seeing Slade in his outfit, although the dramatic music when he took off the mask seemed a bit out of place since we already know it's him.

Nice episode. I do agree the manipulation on Slade & Blood's part was pretty good.
    Poor Laurel.
Very curious to see what's going to become of Roy. Looks like he's going to be a full on sidekick, at least for next weeks episode. I wonder if he'll find out The Arrow's identity sometime soon?
Slade did look pretty cool in the Deathstroke outfit. I noticed they went from a cloth mask during the island stuff to either plastic or metal in the present.

I see the Huntress is slated to return in an episode called Birds of Prey. Perhaps Canary and Huntress teaming up?

    Another perfectly fine, serviceable ep.

Hey, I thought Summer Glau was gonna be a presence this season? No? Okay, fine by moi...

Dang, Felicity's really living in the cave now, isn't she? Ollie goes with Laurel to her house, not expecting trouble... and when he recovers from the sneak attack, she answers his call faster than OnStar. :p

Speaking of which, couldn't she have looped a few minutes of security camera footage, a la Speed, rather than shutting them off altogether? I mean, I guess I'll give this a pass, but, really...

^Felicity is still off her game worried about Barry. Speaking of which I like the in show reason he is not Flashing around yet. Keeps him out of action until the pilot and then hopefully the series.

The comics version started off revenge-driven too, albeit maybe not as ax-crazy? It might be interesting to see her end up being trained by Canary though as somebody who broke away from the League.

Well that one hit all the comic geek beats very well. Bronze tiger, Amanda Waller and the Squad, Roy getting to join team Arrow. Even Walter made a good return this week. Poor Laurel, things are not going well and her father should know that you cant help someone who isnt ready to be helped.
The whole mayoral run thing is kind of odd except it will bring Blood and Ollie closer as foes.

*insert complaint about thin Amanda Waller*

I can't say as I really care anything about the mayoral race. They're really not giving her anything interesting to do this year. The rest was good though, glad to see Roy brought into the fold.

I wonder who we'll have on Arrow's Suicide Squad? Bronze Tiger, obviously, and I imagine Deadshot is a given considering his previous appearances on the show. Would they bring Count Vertigo back from the dead for it? What about introducing Captain Boomerang, before having him leave the group to go be a thorn in Barry's side on his show. They've already got Killer Frost in the Flash pilot, too. Plenty of possible squad members, here.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too.
I really enjoyed this episode. The stuff with Roy was interesting, and I was very happy when he showed him who he was. I knew that pretty much had to be happening sooner or later once he agreed to train Roy, and I'm glad they didn't drag it out forever.
I'm curious where they are going with Laurel exactly.
Not sure what I think of the Mayoral race stuff introduced here, but at least it will give Moira more to do the rest of the season.
I'm very curious to see exactly what ends up happening with Slade on the island.
Next week we get to meet our first al Ghul, should be cool. I wonder if we'll eventually get meet Talia and/or Ra's, or if they'll just leave him as an off camera presence, and have Nyssa as our highest ranking onscreen member of The League.

    credits roll....
"Amanda Waller, My names Nick Fury" - "Nick Fury, My name's Amanda Waller"
"and I want to recruit you for the Avengers Initiative" - "And I want to recruit you for the Suicide Squad"
"Wait! what?" - "What? say again?"

Whoa! Now Roy is part of Ollie's secret circle.

I feel sorry for Laurel, who's really hit rock bottom. How long before she can get her life back in order?

I can totally see Moira running for mayor of Starling City. Never mind the fact that she used to be a part of the undertaking to destroy the Glades; she's rich, powerful, willing to atone for her past mistakes, and can take on Sebastian Blood.

Did I hear Markovia? Is Geo Force going to be around? ;) Or Terra, for that matter.

    Sara ...

Didn't Laurel become a florist for a while in the comics?

    oh, and "Team Arrow" lol.
