Is the Playstation 4 About to be announced??

Sorry for the derail, clears up the "pound sign" though....

The use of "#" as an abbreviation for "number" is rare in Britain and Ireland. Where Americans might write "Symphony #5", the British and Irish are more likely to write "Symphony No. 5".

So why does No. stand for number and not Nu.? Never mind....

;)

No. is an alternative form of №, which is an abbreviation using the first and last letters of "numero," a form of the Latin (and other Romance languages) word for "number." One such number is 4, which will be the next iteration of the PlayStation, a video game system I vaguely remember reading something about.

Rumour has it it won't be PlayStation 4 but something else, as they did with Vita. So it may actually be PlayStation Orbis and that's not just the code name for it.

If that's the case get ready to bury Sony as the fanbois torch their HQ

A good effort, but Sony's going to have to work harder than that if it wants to take the Most Ridiculous Console Name title away from the Wii and Wii U.

The Xbox specs were leaked ages ago but no one believed them until it was confirmed by patents that showed up for it.

I think Sony recently announced behind the scenes and that was leaked from there.

Comparison and technical breakdown of the specs of both machines. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/df-hardware-spec-analysis-durango-vs-orbis

This kind of masturbation over hypothetical system specs is really tedious. There's so much speculation about what "might" be possible with these systems, sight unseen. The fact is, nobody's going to know how these systems will work, or stack up against each other, until we see some real ones in action.

Desktop PC manufacturers may be happy to see the upgrade curve pushed again, though. ;)
