How Excited are You about Star Trek Into Darkness?

First movie in this new series was great, so very excited for next one

I'm very excited.

And I don't get how people are still complaining on how we have next to nothing about the film, and that we should know more....

I mean, guys, this is basicly what it used to be before the internet you know? Nowadays you sit in the theatre and you'll go 'yeah, I read about this scene' or 'oh, this is what we saw as a clip online'.

There was a time when everybody was unspoiled and thought of it as (shock and horror coming) normal!!

Amen, brother!

And, yeah, I'm looking forward to the movie, but don't feel a burning desire to know all about it RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE!

Come May, I'll be in line . . . .

A thousand times this. A preview at the cinema a month or two before the movie opens is fine with me. I already know the basic premise--it's Star Trek.

Has anyone noticed has JJ kept his previous film so secret !!! Please give us a trailer or a plot secret or something to do with the new characters its driving me mad. !!!!!

I saw it tomorrow. It was great.

Are they concerned about what they've filmed and hurrying to salvage it? Is there something else that's a problem?

We were told - years ago! - that there would be much secrecy and tight security.

Faith has nothing to do with it. Clearly, I'm trying to raise their ire so they say something like, "Oh yeah? Well for your information, Cumberbatch plays XXX who is a XXX and Kirk needs to stop him from XXXing the XXXs! So there!"

True. They release a teaser way before when the first one was being made. Its now just 8 months out. They should release a poster, a teaser and the basic plotline blurb by now. I am sick and tired of hearing all the actors give canned responses over and over again.

I've got at least 100 unopened blu-rays/DVDs sitting on a pile to be watched (many of which are multi-disc box sets). More than enough to keep me busy until next May. I think a poster or two (nothing too specific) would be okay (many films have posters a year out from their release) but it's too early for much more.
