"For the fourth consecutive year, the Hollywood Food Coalition is elated to partner with a gajillion Star Trek celebrities and note-worthies to raise money and awareness for the wonderful anti-poverty work HoFoCo does in Southern California TREK TALKS, an 8 Hour You Tube digital Jerry Lewis-esque gabathon, will take place on April 5, from 10 o'clock Pacific to 6:00 Pacific, and will feature such guests as Kate Mulgrew, Sonequa Martin Green, Tawny Newsome, Bob Picardo, David Ajala, Doug Jones, and a ton of other thesps, as well as behind the scenes stars - writers, producers, creatives of all stripes will be dropping in!
Bonnie Gordon and I will host, and Rod Roddenberry will once again kick off the day for us, along with the Food Coalition's Executive Director, Arnali Ray, who'll have exciting news about the work we are doing here in LA to help rebuild a tattered social safety net through the medium of food. It's like going to a Convention, except you don't have to wear pants - or bathe - and even if you can't spare a dime, you can help spread the word, and be part of the story . . . exciting auction items galore, fun guests, tons of zest, pizzaz, brio, gusto, you name it, we'll be bring'n it."
