Your latest purchases, cont.

^You bought a password for your phone? ;)

1Password is probably one of the most massively useful utilities I've ever known. I have it for my desktop iMac and my iPad, I just got it for the iPhone too. It remembers all your passwords, software licenses, credit cards, other IDs, etc.; helps you generate new and secure passwords; and is safe to use (it uses military-grade encryption which would take a million years to break). It's made by a company called AgileBits. Linky

Oh and I also just bought a CharmCard online so I'll have it ready when I visit Bawlmer in a few weeks! (Tried to get a TransPass for Philly but you can't buy them online. Not the weekly ones anyway. :sigh: )

WIN---ter? I've heard of that. What's it like?
Yep, Winter it's called. It's a strange season when if you go outside without the proper protection pretty soon you don't feel your nose and your fingers. You also can see your breath coming out of your lungs like steam. I'm tellin' ya, it's just downright weird, it is. :shifty:

:D

Last year I experienced that very thing, but I called it "Chicago in April"...

^ Then I shall not be visiting Chicago any time soon!

I experienced that in Stockholm in April, by the way. Not. Nice. :borg:

Well don't let that scare you away. I don't know if it's always like that. It was when I was there, though. The reason I chose such an early time to go was this: it was the only time the whole baseball season that the Cubs and White Sox were in town the same week! (Didn't even get to see the ivy at Wrigley Field :( )

I bought my friend and her boyfriend coffees while we were out for a stroll on Venice Beach this afternoon, and then on my way home purchased a few bags of discounted Valentine's Day M&Ms (I always have a dish of M&Ms out on my coffee table for guests) as well as two bottles of red wine.

I've always thought that you seem like you'd be fun to hang out with, but this seals it. M&Ms on the coffee table? I'm there. Let's be friends.

A big hunk of chocolate... shaped like a body part.

Yuh-huh.

My best friend and I purchase these often, just to be silly.

The postman just brough me 4 dvds

1) Jonathan Creek series 1-4 with the Christmas Specials
2) Anatomy of a Murder - starring James Stewart
3) Sooty - the Big Surprise
4) The Best of the Original Basil Brush Show

the last two prove that, despite my age, I have never grown up.

Boom Boom.

The whole 4 seasons and Christmas specials only cost me £14.99. I like the seasons with Maddy more than the episodes with Carla.

Me, too. Jonathan had the best chemistry with Maddy. I think "The Black Canary" was my favorite special (but... DAMN....that was nasty!). *shudder*

Not a new purchase but mum & dad are emptying their vacation home (before a sale) and one of the things they found in 'my room' was my copy of Sue Townsend's The Queen and I -just like getting a new book :)

Still funny -even if it is a bit dated...
