SPOCK: Ahem, about that, Captain. The diplomatic corps has been fielding some "inquiries".
Bum: "Well, what're ya doin' grabbin' my legs then?"
Bum: "Stop thief!"
McCoy: "It's OK. I'm a doctor, not a pickpocket!"
McCoy: "Uh... where I come from, this is how we greet each other." (wince)
Bum: "In that case, you might feel right at home with several young ladies I just passed on that corner back there."Bum: "Well, what're ya doin' grabbin' my legs then?"
Bum: "Stop thief!"
McCoy: "It's OK. I'm a doctor, not a pickpocket!"
McCoy: "Uh... where I come from, this is how we greet each other." (wince)
Scotty: "Tell me, Mr. Spock. We're livin' in the 23rd century, are we not?"
Spock: "You are being most vague, but in essence you are correct."
Scotty: "So, canna you tell me why I'm workin' with dangling wires and circuit panels that look a splittin' image of the 1960's?
Nimoy: (breaking character) "That's because we're IN the 1960's, Jimmy!"
Good Evening everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that A.V.I.A.F. has decided to pass the baton of creating and judging the TOS Caption Contest to another.
I would like to thank A.V.I.A.F. for the fantastic contests and the great service to all of the participants of the contests and for all those who just come to watch the magic that is brought together in these each and every contest.
In moving forward, A.V.I.A.F. has requested that I get the ball rolling with selecting a new person to take over and continue forth with these contests. I would like to invite anyone interested to PM me.

Spock: What was wrong with lt. Uhura's console,mr Scott?why can't we communicate and we hear only backgroung noise?
Scotty: Maybe because there is a tribble in here that I couldn't beam up on the klingon ship. Or maybe because some liquids were split on it..can't figure out yet. As a precaution, could you ask Miss uhura to wear panties when she sits on the console?

...but many thanks for your time at the "helm" of this contest.

And so it goes,.... THANK YOU A.V.I.A.F. Your BRILLIANT Photo Caption contest was the HIGHLIGHT of the TOS Board for so many people,... which is self-evident, as folks are still posting-in even though it has ended!

Even from the somewhat distant Moderator's perch, these have been great fun. I hope somebody will take the baton and keep on truckin'.
