As long as we're on the subject of Italy, here's a flood of some shots I took while in Tuscany a few years ago.

This is where we stayed while there.

Some of the abandoned properties nearby.

I did take some shots of Siena but I haven't actually sorted through all my photos so those shots haven't beern uploaded to Flickr yet.

Boco, I don't think anyone objected to interesting pics of you... I think the issue raised was that there was a great many posts of interesting pics of you and some of the men on the board got, uh, too excited about them.

Some pics I took in Japan last year, when I first visited the island of Miyajima in Hiroshima Prefecture...

I love these lion statues at Miyajima. They're about 5 or 6 meters high.

The deer are so tame (they're sacred and protected on Miyajima), they came up and started chewing on these girls' shirts:

A gorgeous back yard at a home in Miyajima turned into a historical museum:

The Otorii Gate at low tide. The locals run out and collect shellfish left on the sea bed when the tide is out.
