As it says, witbier is very refreshing in summer, but it's a different kind of beer than what you're probably used to.

Next time, I'll go for some undisputable Trappist.

Oh I'm used to it all... though the lactic thing does sound intriguing.

Looking fwd to trying it. My current fave is Bohemia, the Mexican one. Hard to find here though.

I am now drinking the Hoegaarden.

IT IS WONDERFUL.

Not dissimilar to Bohemia actually.. quite a honey note. With a little touch of spice.

I adore beer in all its many wonderful varieties. I've loved beer since I was a little kid when my dad used to buy us non-alcoholic beer to get us used to the wonders of beer. Yeah. BEER.

Hey guys, been a while since I've posted. Here are some pics from some recent missions I've been on with the organization Warriors' Watch Riders. Basically, it's a group of military veterans as well as non-military patriots who make it their mission to make sure our military members come home to a warm welcome. (escorts from the airport, Welcome Home community ceremonies, etc) A lot of the members are Vietnam vets and came home to a lot of crap, so they aim to ensure that never happens again. Both of my grandfathers were in the military and I have some cousins and friends who are as well. The group is predominantly motorcycle riders (thus the name) but I drive my dad's Jeep that's been fitted with a flag and some WWR livery. Recently I've been offering my design skills to various veterans groups (see my avatar) and everything we do is on a volunteer basis. Anyway, here's some pics.

Myself with my mother-in-law-to-be and my fiancee. My mom-in-law was in Vietnam during the war and was excited to meet some of the vets who were there.

Pulling up to the staging area of a mission in the Jeep. I typically bring up the rear in the escort procession to make sure all of the riders and other cages (cars) make it through intersections, etc.

Not sure how I ended up in this one...this was on Independence Day this year. We were escorting a Vietnam War-flown Huey chopper to a parade.
