My fortress of solitude...

IMG_2003.jpg

Thanks for the commentary everyone! Satyrquaze I placed Picard on that shelf since that is where the TNG series of books begins. All the books are in order of series, then publication date. In the next 1-2 years I will have to replicate the fortress in our basement since this will become another bedroom for our son/daughter!

I just looked it up and it says it is a Belgium beer.

And no, I do not drink American beer.

OK i must have misunderstood you since i thought you said you were gonna try light beer.

BLECH no, I was going to try Hoegaarden.

As it says, witbier is very refreshing in summer, but it's a different kind of beer than what you're probably used to. :)

Next time, I'll go for some undisputable Trappist. ;)

Oh I'm used to it all... though the lactic thing does sound intriguing.

Looking fwd to trying it. My current fave is Bohemia, the Mexican one. Hard to find here though.

Well, if you gotta give up the man-cave, that's a good reason.

I recently had an interest spike in the Chesapeake bay impact crater created 30 million years ago. I live 4 kilometers from NASA Langley near the rim of the crater.

It was a gorgeous spring day here today, so I went on a nice long walk through Ottawa. Here's a couple random low-quality cell phone pictures, one of Chinatown, and one of the downtown skyline.

Me, myself, and I

What a lovely bunch of people, if I may say so. If I may not, well, it's too late to go back now. Well, at least once I hit the post button. I can stop anytime before I do that and pretend that I never typed any of this. Yep, that's what I could do.

Picture from one of the first ball cap, t-shirt, and shorts days of the year.

I've always known I've had a slightly screwed up nose from getting hit repeatedly in the face during ultimate frisbee in high school, but I've never seen a picture that makes it look that bad!!
