Maybe a teeny bit... I think the recommended width is max 750 pxl (in order to avoid page-stretching).
I'll just leave those the way they are and be more careful next time.
I'm definitely socially awkward, but I make up for it with. . . actually I'm not quite sure.
Intelligence and general species superiority.

^Exactly. Tasty mofos.
There's no way kitty pictures can ever be too big.

Better for my dogs to eath them that way.

I'm still using a non-widescreen CRT at 1024x768 resolution, so I do see a lot of thread stretching. But I do appreciate that widescreen monitors and higher resolutions are the norm these days.*Sorry, are these too big?

A lot of people browse with a 'wide-screen'-monitor for nothing but their browser.
Then your image-size is ok.
Others have the 'wide-screen'-monitor but use the 'wide'-part to have a side-panel in the browser open -or some other application instantly reachable.
Then there's a problem with big images.
Personally I have no problem as I use a multi-monitor set-up where I have the choice of resolution I want to browse in.
A debate-forum (like this one) I usually would have on a (sorta) low-res monitor (tuned to look good when I'm watching text).
This way I can (like right now) watch a film on a 'big' screen. (while still being on the TBBS!).
That makes page-stretching a (tiny!) problem for me.

^Heh, We used to have two dogs and one cat... Whenever the dogs got too rowdy the cat only needed to extend one paw (with extended claws) and 'lightly pat' the biggest dog for them to know 'play time' was over![]()
