I don't fully understand why Voodoo has a book. It didn't even occur to me till I read about it that it was Voodoo from WildC.A.T.s, whose superpower, I believe, has having breasts.
The only thing that I remember Voodoo ever doing was having transcendent sex with Solar, Man of the Atom, which kicked off the Image/Valiant crossover,
Deathmate.
Hell of a thing for a character to be remembered for...
Hell of a thing indeed, since that was actually Void.
Superhero comics need more cosmic sex, fewer corpses in refrigerators (I see you hiding down there, Ron Marz!).
Anyway, this is pretty much what I mean when I say I'm shocked Voodoo has a series, since even for people that remember WildC.A.T.s, Voodoo didn't really register.
I mean, I can safely assume that Voodoo actually had a personality in Wildcats 3.0, because Joe Casey is great (seriously, you all must buy
Vengeance), but unfortunately I haven't found the time/funds to catch up on that acclaimed failure. In the original Jim Lee, I seriously could never figure out why she was there at all, except maybe Spartan's robotic fuel cells could only be recharged via intercourse. She had vague animal powers maybe?
