Let's go, bat her up
She's taking the afternoon off

It's a beautiful day for a Bonz thread
A Bonz thread today
The mods are out to stop a flame war or two
From Walla Walla Washington to Kalamazoo
It's a beautiful day for infractions
But even a warning's okay
She's gonna cheer, and boo,
And demand more ale from you,
At the Bonz thread...today!

The only sport I ever enjoyed was Women's Figure Skating-- which somewhat brings us back on topic. :rommie:

She always scared me. Unlike some of the skaters, she looked like the type who would royally kick your ass if you messed with her.

I did like her backward flips on ice though.

Baseball is like the American version of Cricket. Booooring.

yeah, but at least cricket doesn't last nine innings or more and have four place to run between.

saying that, baseball doesn't take 5 days to play...

then again, 20-20 cricket lasts only a few hours...

Why do I get the feeling this has something to do with your Surya Bonaly fixation? ;)
Wow, good memory. :D :bolian:

She's still the only one who can do that, as far as I know, even since she hurt her leg. :mallory:

Pictures RJD on skates, practizing 8s and 3s
(sorry, you know I can never withstand a really bad pun)

As for the backwards flips - to my knowledge there are even only very few male skaters who can do them. It's always been a complete mystery to me how anyone - regardless of their gender - can jump, twist and turn in the air without losing orientation.

I know it was innocent, but you need to resurrect something less volatile than this topic. You know, something like the Black Death or the Spanish Flu.
