I was tired and read/took SPOCKED's post the wrong way, in combination with some other posts made by other members and mods, it just made me a bit peeved off...
But i got the bug that was crawling up my butt out and put it in my avatar, so i'm cool now...
While I would have preferred if you had brought this up to me in a PM instead of publicly, since you acknowledged the behavior and got rid of the offending avatars, I'll reverse the infraction. You're not a problem poster and there's a lot of room for misunderstanding in this thread (I know), so I'm happy to have this resolved positively. Thank you.

After reading this entire thread, I can only say that freedom of speech (with limits) is bound to hurt someone's feelings..
And those who can't handle such things need to go to a place where censorship is much stronger than the Trek BBS...
Where?..I don't know, I feel that things are run pretty fine round here...
if one gets offended, one needs to take it up with the mods...and the ultimate authority round this place ....(after the mods are suitability notified)

I knew exactly what I was doing at the time too. And apologized to the mod who had to warn me. And then apologized to the other poster privately. If it makes you feel any better, the thing I was mad about was someone having an overly cynical view of humanity. I mean seriously, who else besides me would get so mad over cynicism that they'd be willing to get an infraction for it?!
I remember that. I also remember having to look twice because I could not believe my eyes. 
I can assure you the English phrase's resemblance to German is purely coincidental.

I became a fan in 1969. Through the early 80s, the Pirates were awesome. I watched the '71 series on TV (too young to be allowed to go to the series alone
) but in 1979 I went to 2 of the 3 Series games in Pittsburgh.Just because they're too cheap now to invest in and keep good players doesn't mean I turn my back on my team. I am a lifelong Pirates, Steelers and Penguins fan by virtue of birth. I like the Marlins and Dolphins due to my long tenure in S. Fl.
By the way, two words for YOU too: 1960, Mazeroski.

I've just been lurking in this thread the whole time but I had to comment on this.
I went into the Smallville thread for the first episode which aired after the break and couldn't believe some of the stuff being said in there about Chloe. Anything ever said in the picture thread pales in comparison.
If you ever find anything particularly disturbing about what's been said, by all means notify on it. Bear in mind that I cannot guarantee the forum mods will agree with you, but it will be reviewed.
