I love how the Hate Mail offers, in support of their sense of outrage, a statement from "muslim extremist Anjem Choudary".

They don't think it's a bit odd that, after spending the other 364 days of the year scaremongering about the likes of Choudary, and Islamic extremism (Choudary's the guy in charge of Islam4UK, who put up a load of anti-Xmas posters last week, claiming that Islam protects people from the Xmas evils of domestic abuse and violence. How you can beat your sister or daughter to death for dating a non-muslim without being either violent or abusive wasn't explained in the flyers), that they then claim to be on his side or something? WTF?

I mean. They're complaining about TG mocking the burqa? When they themselves are the most racist anti-Islam, anti-burqa-wearing corner of the media that there is? What the smeg is going on? Is their hatred of Jezza just that much above their hatred of foreigners, non-godfearing Christians, etc?

I think they're just pissed off that The Daily Star grabbed the headlines about Chouary's anti-Xmas posters first, cos it'd have been perfect Hate Mail material.

It was a great special, but I saw the baby Stig coming way off.

The Mail hates the BBC more than Muslims.
I bet it was quite difficult for them to decided whose side to take on this one.

I was kind of underwhelmed. I thought it was the weakest of the specials so far.

It felt that way too, much as I enjoyed it.

The formula is still ok by me, three blokes get a budget, buy some cars, then test them. Just need to find the right combination of cars and location.

Three jeeps in South America or three touring cars in Germany worked ok, three American "classics" in America worked very well

I love Top Gear and really enjoyed last nights show. There is something about watching a Beetle falling at terminal velocity on a Sunday evening that makes one feel good about himself. lol.

If your from Britian I am surprised you didn't see his DVD advert on TV over Christmas. It was played loads.

He used to appear on Irish (and Northern Irish) panel shows a fair bit a few years ago because he hadn't cracked the British mainstream yet and it was the only way he'd get on TV. I rarely watch TV these days so I don't know if he still does it, but I imagine not.

As for Top Gear, it was a good episode, but I also wish that Stig 3.0 had been a different colour. Perhaps pink.
