Which character would you like to play?

Lwaxana Troi. The way she tortured Picard, my God...what fun it would be to make that man blush!

Oh, AND GET OFFA MY LAWN!!!!!!!!

Do we have fist shake smiley?

There you go:

I would also like to admit flat-out that one of the reasons I would like to play President Roth (or whatever Roth was when he was my age), is that like myself, he's bald (ish, anyway) and has a beard. :D

If I were female, I'd like to have played Ro Laren. I wouldn't want to leave TNG, so Preemptive Strike wouldn't have happened, and I'd be more than happy to have taken the Bajoran commander's place on DS9 when the part was offered to me.

Or a female version of Wesley like Gene Roddenberry originally wanted (Lesley).

Unfortunately most of my favorite characters are male, which kind of rules me out. ;)

That said, if I could choose ANY role at all, I would want to play Gul Macet or Glinn Daro (yes, even with the embarrassing uniform), or play Tekeny Ghemor. All three of those would be roles I would love. :)

The heroic and yet doomed Chair of the Depata council during the Revolution of 2372.

That or an Obsidian Order agent...

What?

^

B'Elanna Torres. But I probably would have put my foot down about having to be married to Tom Paris. I would've taken Vorik up on his offer . . .

You'd better go with Option #1. Given events in Gul Re'jal's corner of the universe, the Obsidian Order's stock actually managed to fall from its already low esteem to negative numbers. :(

That's what I'm thinking, there's more love for the fallen revolutionary than the secret service agent.

Although if the Order hadn't lost its way...

Ensign Ro. I think I'd have a lot of fun being that character. Or, although I don't look anything like the next two characters, being either Guinan or Captain Janeway would be so cool. Or Dr. Crusher, although medicine isn't exactly my favorite field of science. Perhaps a random lieutenant in E-D's, E-E's, or Voyager's Engineering, that would be good. Then again, there's also Nurse Chapel, so I could swoon over Spock and work for/with Dr. McCoy, while having minimal contact with Captain Kirk. WIN.

They embodied the spirit of corruption in the Union from the very start.

The guitar playing hippie singer from 'The Way to Eden' (TOS). The overwhelming campness of the costume and the fact that the songs he sang were so California mid 60s.

I'd like to play Ro Laren. Out of all the Trek characters, she's one of the most similar to myself, which would be a good thing even if I had much better acting skills. I wouldn't have to deal with lots of makeup and playing a recurring character sounds more appealing to me than playing a regular.

And, AFAIK, Charles Napier - who played Adam - wrote most of the songs himself. Which is pretty funny, given that he would later do a total about-face and start playing badass military types like in his appearance on DS9 (Little Green Men).

Too bad that Adam couldn't have shown a few more Tucker McElroy-isms. "Kirk, yer gonna have a hard time eating that apple with no FUCKIN' TEETH!" :D

I would have loved to play K'Ehleyr, though I'd also have to lose 60 lbs and grow 11 inches in height. I always regret that she was killed off on just her second appearance.
