Anyone here think the moon landings were faked?

Yeah, it's too bad nothing like that exists.

Oh wait.

Those are very cool images! Thank you for sharing these, Canadave.

Those are faked, too. ;)

Maybe the Moon Landing is real, but intelligent life on Earth is fake.

Dude, sometimes I see your posts and wonder how hammered I was the night before that I don't remember saying that. Then i look past the avatar.

You're keeping me on my toes is what I'm saying.

Faking six moon landings doesn't make much sense. Faking a moon landing, a Mars landing, a Ganymede landing, first contact with an advanced race of capitalist aliens, and then an alliance with said aliens, all in the space of a decade, does make sense.

On second thought, why didn't we do that? The Soviets would have shit their pants. Do I have to think of everything?

I remember that soon after Viking landed on Mars, a opinion-comic appeared in the local paper (Pasadena Star news). It showed Viking in the background and in the foreground were a lot of rocks with faces (eyes and mouths), with one saying “When I give the word, we charge!”

Dad (the rocket scientist at JPL) said a bit ruefully, “Would that it were true. And that we got it on film."

Remember the "Cities on Moon" videos from a few years ago? Good times.

I used to go to JPL for field trips as a kid. I remember once was during the Voyager missions. Made quite an impression on a young boy.

I suppose those were faked too.

Why does everything from childhood have to get ruined??

Because those things are old. And old things like the founding fathers, the pledge of allegiance, American achievement in space, lemonade stands, and old fashioned light bulbs are bad and have to get erased from history for the new Progressive utopia to arise. Get with the plan, Stonn :p

A scarier thing to me is the number of people who think there's a conspiracy surrounding JFK or 9/11.
Those numbers are sure to be higher than this moon one.
