Moon landing conspiracists always seem to forget that Apollo 11 wasn't the only landing. They have tunnel vision to the nth degree.
So you wear just half of a tinfoil hat?I don't think the landings were faked, but I think we found something up there or out there that spooked us... that's why we closed down the program and destroyed the drawings for the Saturn rockets and the rest of the hardware.

My father was in the aerospace business at the time. No, I don't think the moon landings were faked.
The moon landing couldn't have been faked because people saw it on TV! That seems to be the only proof people need of the event happing. It would be much easier to fake a moon mission than the actually go there. Especially when one watches the video of the US flag flapping in the breeze of the vacuum of space? I am 100% agnostic on the moon missions. I am not saying it didn't happen but I would like to see proof. We got satellites that can look down at earth and read the date on a coin laying on the ground, we should be able to see the moon mission gear left on the moon with a telescope from here on earth. That would be proof.

And the only "proof" HBers need to believe in a hoax are poorly cropped & highly compressed .jpegs and overly edited mission footage narrated by some pompous egomaniac who feeds on their fears while looking for a quick buck. The moon landing couldn't have been faked because people saw it on TV! That seems to be the only proof people need of the event happing.

Yeah, it's too bad nothing like that exists.
Oh wait.
I don't think we could land and come back safely now, let alone the 1960's.

In the '60s we had a unified nation
Try telling that to someone who was a teenager in the 1960s. There are lots of us around, you know. The entire world witnessed men landing and walking on the moon. SIX times.I don't think we could land and come back safely now, let alone the 1960's.
Or the idea that a civilized and cultured nation could create a far-reaching, sophisticated apparatus for the sole purpose of methodically exterminating entire groups of people. To today's generation the idea of a massive war between countries lasting for multiple years is unthinkable.
“No”? Did we have a second Civil War or something that I missed? In the '60s we had a unified nation
No.

No.
In the '60s we had a unified nation
No.
Anyone ever tell you about keeping quotes in context?
"against a coherent external threat we were in direct competition with."
