^ True- but 40 years from now, there will be people that will claim that this threat never happened....
They'll be claiming that this thread was on the grassy knoll.
No, this thread is photoshopped.

Of course it wasn't faked. But it is fun to kick the "conspiracy" around to make fun of the lunatics who believe it.
My Dad's obsessed with the space program. I think watching the moon landings was the closest thing he's ever had to a religious experience. Sometimes I bring up the hoax with him just to play devil's advocate, thinking he might get the same enjoyment out of it I do. It's one of the few things that makes him furious. He knows I don't believe it but it's like even discussing the thing hypothetically just drives him blind with rage.
I guess I feel the same way as he does, I just enjoy ripping on morons more than he does.
I'm a little surprised and disappointed that we haven't had a real certifiable case in this thread yet.
Why was MLK only "murdered" when the two Kennedy's were "assassinated"? Surely all three of them were assassinated as they were killed for politically motivated reasons?
maybe you should burst out laughing...
I find conspiracies fascinating as elaborate "what ifs," but they're just entertainment value for me. I'm really bothered sometimes by the things people actually believe. I have some relatives who are 9/11 "truthers" and I've watched some of their, uh, "material." It's all I can do not to bust out laughing when they're sitting there watching it all deadly serious.![]()

I know the feeling. I had a few friends who believed that crap and a whole mess of other weird stuff about Monsanto, the Illuminati, and the UN. I got so tired of explaining that house-fires could get hot enough to melt steel without any accelerant that I finally just parted ways.
Its too bad you don't have that option.
Does anyone else feel a strange absence in this thread? I know someone on this board is an Illuminati expert....
Sorry that's one of the seven words you can't use on trekBBS. Please get to know the rules a little better. They weren't faked, you uneducated buffoon.
