Paul Fix was also a regular on the 1958-63 Western series The Rifleman, appearing in all but a handful of episodes as Marshal Micah Torrance.
I've had two more Trek actor sightings over the weekend: LeVar Burton in Roots and Robert Picardo in one of the Stargate series. It was especially nice to see LeVar without the VISOR. He's got such pretty eyes!

We recently caught Connor Trinneer playing a SURPRISE!! redneck sheriff in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
John Billingsley is also in a first season episode of Six Feet Under. It's funny he's rattling on and on about this guy that was giving him problems, in the background you see his wife fixing breakfast, then she bashes him over the head and sits down and eats said breakfast
I saw George Takei once. He was real nice and gave me an autograph.

Well, very few people do not know that. Thus, citing it is pretty much redundant. It's kind of like saying "Ooh, Ooh, I saw William Shatner on "T.J. Hooker!"
FL is right, of course, that Roots is probably, among non-Trek fans, LeVar Burton's most famous role, but nonetheless, the way I see it, a spotting is a spotting. One person's "Of course he was in that - it was his first big role" is another person's "Wow, look - isn't that so-and-so from Star Trek?" It's all a question of one's experiences. I know at least one Trek fan who was very pleased to turn on TNG for the first time and see that Geordi LaForge was played by the the guy from Reading Rainbow.
Well, I'm sorry. We can't all be watching the same shows at the same time. And whether one show or another is someone's big break or not seems entirely irrelevant here.

and though this isn't really a sighting but M. Dorn did a voice over in the saints row 2 game. Mearo was the character I think.
oh nearly forgot the actor that plays Khan was in an episode, he was a bullfighter or something and also the actress that plays T'pring was in one too.

Alienesse, the only response I can come up with to your last post is 'I concede JustKate's point.' If seeing LeVar Burton in "Roots" was a new experience for you, I apologize for seeming to minimize the importance of it. For me personally, I remember watching it the first time it aired, and have been impressed with him ever since. Have you seen the film "Dummy" in which he costarred with Paul Sorvino?
No, I'm afraid I haven't seen any of LeVar's work outside Star Trek. I'll put it on my list of movies to see.
Right now I'm watching Scott Bakula movies.As for Roots, I bet it's a very good show. I don't remember ever having seen it on TV in my part of the world before a few weeks ago when I made that comment. I'm sure it's worth watching.

LeVar was on an episode of Boomtown a few years ago. He played a fraternity brother who was suspected in the death of a pledge.
The pledge had accidentally died during hazing and they stuffed him in the walls of the frat house. Only problem is, he wasn't DEAD yet...
