The Enterprise D was the last vestige of Gene Roddenberry that needed to go for ST:TNG to be Rick Berman's.
Behold, ILM, your player hate for the D was unfounded. I hope you're glad you gave Picard a mid-life-crisis hot rod.
The problem wasn't ILM. Some of their guys were even convinced the next one should be a Galaxy again, like the two Connie Refits. Hence the famous image of the relabeled saucer section.
The image of Picard on the E-D bridge with the FC uniform is Fantastic.
Wow, thanks for the props, guys. I almost thought I'd come in here and have to call someone out for jacking my work...and I'm thrilled to see that's not the case. Anyway, thanks again. I have been thinking of doing manips like this for Insurrection and/or Nemesis.

Also, while I didn't make this and the name of who did escapes me, but this should definitely get the waterworks flowing if you miss the D.

Very Nice work.
As much as I like the Sovereign class I really would have liked to have seen the E-D's true potential explored on the big screen. It was one of the things that made TNG ending somewhat bearable for me. I was majorly bummed when it was destroyed in Generations.

One thing to keep in mind: At that point the six-footer was almost a decade old and had been put through more abuse than any other model since the original Connie. She would've either needed a complete restoration from the ground up or be rebuilt at an even higher detail level. Probably one of the things they used to justify the crime of destroying the future of that masterpiece.

Very nice... I think the FC-colored chairs look good on the 1701-D bridge.
This one isn't bad, but I think the texture on the saucer and the way the model is lit don't allow it to blend into the scene as easily as your earlier model did. It looks a lot more CGI than the Bridge Commander model you used.
Way to go, you made me have to go and watch Generations. I'm mad at you, no really. Making me watching it again, like I haven't seen it enough. Shame on you sir, shame on you.
