What Star Trek episodes or films have you been watching lately?

Trek is on my television seven days a week, 365 days a year in one form or another. I watch all the series in order throughout the year and currently I am on disc three of DS9 season seven. That being said, I've also been really into watching the BD's of TOS as well and every night either a Trek episide or feature film will put me to sleep.

I watched Errand of Mercy from season 1 yesterday and I thought it was rubbish! It's the first TOS episode to recieve that label from me so far, although others may have been borderline.

PsychoPere - thank you, I'll be looking forward to that :guffaw:

Have fun watching the TOS episodes! Be warned there's some bad episodes in season three, but there's a few classics in there too to make up for it!!

Fair enough. I just thought it was quite boring, it didn't really get my imagination going or anything. Maybe quite a poor reason for classing it rubbish, perhaps a tad harsh.

One of only two episodes in the entire franchise to make me Cry.

*The other one is TNG's The Inner Light

Never got the love for The Inner Light or Living Witness for that matter. YMMV.

I agree about Inner Light, never liked that one myself, but I enjoyed Living Witness, which is saying alot since my favorites of all the series are usually the ones that take place entirely on the ship (or station).

^ Kor appeared in DS9 three times: season 2's "Blood Oath," season 4's "The Sword of Kahless," and season 7's "Once More Unto the Breach." "Blood Oath," of course, featured the other two prominent TOS Klingons, Kang and Koloth.

Yesterday I watched Journey To Babel from season 2 of TOS. I can't remember seeing it before but I really enjoyed it.

Lowdarzz - I haven't seen The Child for what must be years! Brings back memories, that episode.

Last Trek episode I saw was "The Savage Curtain." It must have been a long time since I last saw it because I didn't remember any of it and it was like a brand new episode to me.

Just watched ST:TMP Directors Edition. I love this film, it's not the best of the movie series but it's by no means the worst either. (That honour goes to Insurrection)

Have seen Conspiracy and The Neutral Zone this week on daily reruns. Not watched early eps for a while, and I'd forgotten how "actor-ish" the TNG cast were in the first two seasons under Roddenberry compared to the rest of the series under Berman.

Stewart plays Picard like a stroppy headmaster, while Frakes shouts everything like Nimoy did in early TOS. Spiner playing Data is just eugh compared to how the character changed when Mr We Are Very Pleased took over.

And I just want to give Gates McFadden a hefty slap for being such a complete weak willed pussy.
