What Star Trek episodes or films have you been watching lately?

I finally finished watching TAS. It does searve as a testament to James Doohan's voice talents since he performed most of the voices.

I still don't really see what all the hype was about it though. Granted, it may be more intellectual than your average Saturday morning cartoon, but the show is still just TOS with the cheesy and kiddie factors cranked up. I'm sealing TAS back up and giving it to my baby boy when he is older.

I haven't seen any of the star trek series on television yet would like to know if it's worth watching at all.

It is. TOS, TNG, and DS9 are the best, but Voyager and Enterprise have some good stuff in them. The Xindi arc in season 3 was a pointless waste of time, but season 4 makes up for it.

Of course, this is only my opinion, which is that more or less all of TV today is worthless, so you might as well watch Star Trek reruns.

^ K'Ehleyr.

On my journey through TNG, I'm now up to season 5. Hoping to have time to watch "Silicon Avatar" tonight.

TNG The Offspring - wow, so in Season 3 the show's gained Michael Piller, Ron Moore and now René Echevarria. There are some weaknesses - it's kind of all over the place and I'd liked to have seen more of Data and Lal and less of the conflict with the Admiral, but it's still a good episode and you can see the hallmarks of the writing Echevarria contributed to TNG and DS9 for all those years. And the ending - "Thank you for my life" :wah: Damn, I hate you René ;)

TNG season 1, "Heart of Glory". I liked Commander Korris; Klingon voices tend to be grating and obnoxious. Appears his actor has been busy in Star Trek....he also played Admiral Forrest in Enterprise.

It's the first season, so some things seem primitive -- not just Worf's hairstyle and makeup, but the fact that their combadges don't chirp when they tap them.

This actor, Vaughn Armstrong, played practically everything in Star Trek ;) I think no one has beaten his record of most characters yet, although I think Jeffrey Combs is close.

I got my full DS9 series DVDs last Monday, so I just jump from one episode to another, choosing my favourites to watch them :) The last one I watched was "Whispers".

Last night I watched "Balance of Terror" for the second time. An excellent episode! Aside from the great military drama involved and the compelling introduction of the Romulans, it features that great McCoy/Kirk moment where Kirk doubts his command abilities and McCoy gives him that speech about how in all this universe with billions of stars there's only one of us. Wonderful!

I just finished Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season 6 and another viewing of the directors cut of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

I've ordered DS9 season 7 from the library but it's going to be a couple weeks before it's available.

I've been doing a rewatch of DS9 and I just finished season 3 last night. I have also been watching a bit of Voyager, starting from season 1. I don't want to get too involved until I'm close to finishing DS9.

This morning I watched three TAS episodes:

Yesteryear
More Tribbles, More Troubles
The Survivor.

Watched "A Journey to Babel" in connection with The Good that Men Do on Wednesday. Last week I also rewatched TWOK, TSFS, and TVH. Currently working on TMP.
