DS9 A Simple Investigation is probably one of the more sexual Trek episodes out there.

 

They almost always mishandle romantic subplots, so it's a very difficult question.

I suppose I'll fall back and just say any frame with Nicole de Boer in it is pretty sexy.

 

Dagger of the Mind: Dr. Helen Noel. No further comment needed.

 

"The Enterprise Incident", as a teenager it was very stimulating watching Spock and the Romulan commander. Even today, the emotions are very raw and sensual.

 

On that note, "Penumbra" and "What You Leave Behind".

But without Ezri...hmm....

"Wink of an Eye" (TOS) and "Mirror Mirror" (TOS) were good in that regard, as were "Lifesigns" (VGR, the ep with Danara Pel), "The Perfect Mate" (TNG)....

I'd have to rack my brain to think of other significant ones.

 

The sight of Odo naked in bed is completely repulsive to me. Obviously though, mileage varies

Hm.... great question, and I really have no idea.

If I had to guess, though, I'd guess Trek XI, 'cause it's flashy, exciting, and ends on the first decidedly cheerful movie note since TUC - but with a much younger and more attractive cast. So long as you're willing to enjoy its popcorn thrills for what they are, I see no reason why an XI screening couldn't be followed by an "all-win scenario".

 

Honestly, I can't think of a sexy Trek episode. Not one. Especially not the ones that are *supposed* to be sexy.

 

Star Trek has the sexuality of an awkward, insecure teenager. It's obsessed with people in tight clothing, women in mini skirts, women in catsuits, men who lose their shirts at any opportunity, exotic scantily-clad alien females, bad boys and bad girls dressed in black latex and rubber, and biker dudes and biker chicks with huge cleavages. There are a lot of attractive images of people, a lot of desire and hinted sexual tension. But actual sex scares the hell out of it (not to mention relationships - that's even scarier! aaaargh ), and when it does happen, which is not that often, it is clumsy and unsatisfying, while any 'relationships' are usually very short and awkward. (Though there are a few exceptions to the latter.)

There are quite a few sexy Trek characters. But sexy episodes? Not really. Trek scenes showing people having sex tend to fall into one of those two categories:

1) make-out scenes leading up to sex: usually involve a most generic, dullest dialogue and setting possible. Holodeck is often used to create an illusion of a stereotypical 'romantic dinner' with some jazz/evergreen music playing in the background. It involves people speaking some generic flirty lines and compliments and finally kissing, at which point background music starts playing; scene ends.

2) post-coital scenes: usually involves two people lying in a bed covered with sheets (it's good to see that they're so determined to hide their naughty bits from someone they've just had sex with) and having a conversation about the fact that they've just had sex.

But it could be worse. It could be like NYPD Blue, with its obligatory generic sex scenes at the end of every episode which proved that, believe it or not, you can be bored to death by the sight of naked people rolling around in bed.

The sexiest episode I can think of is The Enterprise Incident with the scene between Spock and the Romulan Commander. How funny it is that the sexiest Trek scene I can think of involves two fully clothed people touching each other's faces.

 

I never saw the DS9 episode that hinted at girl-on-girl action, so I'm inclined to agree.

 

The Outrageous Okona, got my attention real quick. Billy Campbell is very hot.

 

Star Trek sexy? Pfft.

 

Sexy Star Trek and no-one has mentioned Seven of Nine. I cannot believe it.

Apart from Jeri my other favourites are Terry Farrell (Jadzia) and the few episodes with Suzie Plakson in especially as K'Ehleyr. As I'm watching Enterprise at the moment there are quite a few fairly hot moments involving T.Pol

 

I've been thinking about this since I saw the thread. Incredible really how any other topic gets a ton of posts but we're left scratching our heads for a sexy ep. As someone said, when they try to be sexy is when they really fail.

I think the sexiest ep I've seen is Enterprise's E2. We never see any sex of course, but we do see a very old T'Pol who speaks deeply and intimately about the love of her life, now dead in that time line, and we see their son, an older man who embodies the consummation of their love. You just know it was very very hot.

 

Well...I'd say, as a "hottie", Seven's highly overrated.

Is she cool? Oh, heck yeah!

But hot?

Meh...only physically.

 

The sexiest Star Trek episode? It has to be "Rejoined" when Lenara and Jadzia kiss.

 

I liked the DS9 ep. where Quark & the Klingon Grilka (& Worf & Dax) hooked up....nothing like romance with a chance of serious injury involved...

 

I don't know about sexiest. But as far as hilariously awkward, probably spawned many fanfics. I'd have to say I'd go with DS9's Fascination.

 

Fascination in itself felt like a bad fanfic that somehow got to be made into an episode.

Sexy? Um, no.
