Flashforward SUCKS

This show had promise, but now its such a stupid show I have stopped watching. My friend and I agreed that if Mark's wife kissed the English dude we'd stop watching..AND SHE DID IT!! What an Fing tramp! I feel like I'm watching a stupid ass soap opera.

Her husband will find out she's sleeping with English dude, then husband starts drinking again...and then she'll blame him.

And what does any of this have to do with the Fing FLASHFORWARDS...nothing.

The only part of the show I like is the part about the dude trying to find his daughter.

Sorry Branon Braga...but you have F'ed up this show so much I wish I could FLASHBACK and tell my self in the past to not even bother.

Other reasons it sucks...

1. Expanding on people's flashforwards to 'cheat' with the story writing.

2. Now we are Flashbacking (like Lost did) to also cheat with the story.

I have offically deleted this ratings flop show from my DVR.

Well I like the show, but i don't see how it could do well after if it got a second season, kinda like Heroes in that regard.

I thought it started off good. But with week's episode, and her kissing that dude, it totally jumped the shark for me.

Oh, and what about the fact that Aron left all kinds of messages with Mark about what had happened to his daughter a couple weeks back. Mark acts as if he has no idea what his boss is talking about.

At least Heroes had a pretty good first season..this show had half a good season and its getting worse, and its ratings are nose diving because of it..IMO..

I wanted to like it, but I just completely lost interest. I can't really get into the characters, and the story just wanders around, like they had an endgame in mind, they had a starting point, but they didn't plot the in-between all that well. And I can't take Charlie the Hobbit seriously in this role.

The show's just not for me, although it's still better than V. ABC needs to stop trying recreate Lost. It can't be done.

I'm going to track down the Sawyer novel, though. I have a feeling a real SF author did a better job with this concept.
Braga isn't actually involved in it at all.
Braga helped develop the series and cowrote the pilot, asnd was an executive producer. I haven't been watching the show or paying attention to the credits since the pilot, but did Braga step down as executive producer?

The premise is good, but the execution sucks. There are also all sorts of stories that have no connection to the main plot and just waste time, kinda like the adventures of Kim Bauer in the second season of 24 - does anyone really care about the doctor with a cancer, the japanese girl, the babysitter or the Rambo dad?
This show feels like everything there is made up on the spot, without really trying to connect it to the past events. Kinda like Heroes past season 1.
At least V has more action, but judging by the ratings both shows are probably dead.

The whole kiss thing was to ratchet up the tension on the Demetri situation happening in parallel.

It's a sign that destiny *can't* be avoided (although they forgot and remembered that suicide agent managed it earlier in series) So if wife and the Commodore can't avoid locking lips, maybe Demetri can't avoid three bullets in the chest.

Well, I like the Rambo dad. But the rest of those plots are just stupid. That whole crap last week with the japanese girl at the garage played out like a ABC AFTER SCHOOL SPECIAL.

Oh..as for 24? we're re-watching season three and guess who's a regular...Zac Quinto!

I watched the first month and a half but then lost interest. Part of it was just a lack of follow through (Even though I hear they're doing better) with the plot, but it also is on the same night as Survivor, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock. Why is Thursday night so busy.

They had a great episode three weeks ago, then..whammo...two stupid episodes that really make these characters dimwits or unlikeable.

I don't have a problem with setups not being followed up on right away. I watch Lost fer cryin' out loud. The characters just aren't gripping me.

But if the plot doesn't move (I don't expect things right away either) and the characters are not all that great, and things get repetitious, it makes for a somewhat boring show.

Here's the deal..they keep adding things to people's flashfowards. The whole thing with the formula being one of them. And why is it I remember the nurse chic seeing the Hobbit choaking her originally?

And the "SOAP OPERA" crap is a bit too much. Will she sleep with the dude now that she kissed him? You bet she will. Mark finds out, starts to drink, and justifies her bedding down with the Beatle wannbe. I feel like I'm watching General Hopsital.

The rambo dad should get his own TV show. THAT plot I do like.

I still watch this show, but after a good start it's slipping into predictable TV mode. Just about enough happens to keep me watching, though patience has been tested more often in recent episodes. I really hate the main character, and wish they'd focus more on the guy looking for his daughter.

The different plots are meant to show how the event has affected people in different ways. But I agree that the show has spent too much time on relatively unimportant plots.

I've been wondering about whether to get back into this show after giving up on it after 3-4 episodes. I guess I have my answer.

The show started off good, had an interesting premise, but after the first couple of episodes just became bland. It's like everyone pretty much shrugged off the millions dying and the world-wide destruction that occured because of the "blackout." I mean if a thing were to happen we'd still be dealing with the mess left behind years later but in the show weeks passed and life is more-or-less back to normal. (Besides the scores of wrecked cars still littering the freeways, the people still mourning lost loved ones, and the destroyed buildings from thousands of plane crashes world-wide.)

After the hiatus it's been... "OK" but the last 2-3 episodes remain unwatched on my DVD. I hope the wrap up whatever plot lines this dog has in it because I certainly do not see this one coming back for a season 2. It had a promising premise but it pretty much wasted it.
