Ah, the B vitamin!
Pizza, as always for a Friday night. Only we've started making our own now (using a boboli to start), and they turn out really good, cost the same as ordering from the local pizza joint, only they are loaded up with some good stuff.

I cut up chicken breast into chunks, breaded and fried then added Smokey Mesquite BBQ sauce...with potato salad.
New York strip and some nasty overcooked fries.
The traditional Easter Feast of your people, no doubt.
I was a bachelor for the evening, and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather to fire up the grill. Made myself a beautiful little filet mignon, medium rare, with grilled asparagus, sautéed mushrooms and a baked potato, accompanied by a nice glass of cab sav. I was pretty much in heaven.
I had a Ruben sandwich with a side of potato salad and washed it down with a beer.
Wow, that sounds good!!
We foraged last night. I had a big bowl of oatmeal with lots of sugar and half and half. I know, that makes no sense.
Today I cooked a brisket, it was quite tasty.

It's an old tribal custom passed down to the first born son. I can't speak of this further for fear of angering the gods.
In other words, I got home from the grocery store at 9:30 Friday night and didn't give a hoot.
Saturday night was an Indian feast. Chicken with black pepper and oranges, a cold salad with yogurt dressing, and her homemade naan. I'd marry her just for the naan!
Last night I made risotto with prawns, asparagus, peas, and carrots, and threw in a little tomato paste to give it a tomatoey base. My secret for risotto, put in about twice as much wine and 3x as much cheese as it calls for.
I can't hear "risotto" without this going through my head:

Last night- our traditional Easter repast: Cajun style baked rabbit stuffed with peppers and mushrooms and diced chicken. Cos I just happen to think it's funny to think of the Easter Bunny as a menu choice.
The fast ended a couple of weeks ago I have just not had time to post. Had left overs from Easter Dinner for dinner last night...
Pastrami sandwich. It was amazing.

Terayaki chicken and 5 cheese mac & cheese. Love it when i come hoem and dinner is on the table and smelling great.
Brined pork chops in white wine, broccoli & cheese rice and baked asparagus.

Beef stew.
Cooked some garlic king prawns with a creamy sauce over brown rice with some beans.
