Maybe this is the perfect place to present my daft theory:

Could someone (or something) be using the Immorality Gate to create a new race of Time Lords out of humans? After all it does seem that the Master has been revived in order to carry out a specific task and not of his own accord (note the collar). So perhaps the Master's knowledge of Time Lord technology is being used to create Terran Time Lords.

It's been running though my head these last few days, that and the sound of the never-ending drums...

People had that theory way back before "The Last of Time Lords" aired. I hated the idea and I hate it now.
