^Ew. Whenever I think of Arby's all that comes to mind is that scene in The Simpsons in which Moe finds a dead opossum in his parking lot and tosses it over the fence saying, "Let Arby's deal with it."

For some reason, every time I post in this thread (which is not that often) there's Spag-Bol for dinner. Tonight is no exception. :p

^ So...what is spag-bol, exactly? It sounds from the descriptions I've read sorta like spaghetti with marinara sauce, but...?

Last night was hamburgers - homemade, not from a restaurant - and tonight is meatloaf. And I love meatloaf, so I don't want to hear anything bad about meatloaf. Not sure what I'm going to serve with it.

Thursdays are my wife's late night at grad school, so my son and I just split a can of beef stew and had some bread and butter to go with it.

I miss my mom's cooking too. She was MUCH better at it than I am.

My girlfriend makes up for it though. She's a better cook than me too.

I'm still debating what to make for dinner tonight. I've got a positively wicked craving for linguine fra diavolo, but I don't have any scallops or shrimp -- I don't want to make it with only surimi -- and my wife isn't in the mood for anything spicy. :(

I could make beef bourguignon, but between a smoked brisket on Thursday and lasagne last night, I've been eating entirely too much red meat. (It's also a bit late in the day to begin cooking it, I suppose.)

Eh, maybe I'll just make omelets.

It's certainly made me immense. In every sense of the word. :( :)

Anyway, tonight was salad and pizza. I feel I deserved it today. :D

Thai style salmon and hake fishcakes with a honey and ginger glaze. Definitely have to do that one again.
