A mysterious global event causes everyone to black out simultaneously for two minutes and seventeen seconds during which each person sees a glimpse of their lives six months from now, as of April 29, 2010. As the story begins, a character is saved from suicide and others have to face confusing situations. We also begin to learn some things about the mysterious "Mosaic Collective."

Just a reminder that this show is starting up. If enough people watch, does someone want to take over this thread?

ABC has what I think are the first 12 minutes of the episode up in HD on Xbox Live for free for those who want to spoil themselves. It looked really good--the show definitely has my attention.

I tried to stay away from spoilers, i really hope the show will be a success.

I can't wait to see if they totally ruin one of my fovorite books.

Yes, because if the show sucks they will confiscate all copies of the book and burn them. Besides, Sawyer nearly ruined his own book with the imortality and distant future stuff.

Anyway, I've seen the first 18 minutes and it looks really good, and only loosely based on the book.

Hmm. So far mediocre. Nice effects though. I have a feeling that it will take 3 years for us to get any meaningful episodes.

Heh, tried to post a comment and realized after the fact that I'd wandered off to a different thread.

Anyway, what a coincidence--April 29, 2010 will be a Thursday. :shifty:

About 35 minutes into it now, and it's got my attention as well. Braga might very well have a hit with this one.

this is by far, better than anything braga wrote on voyager. maybe cause he has david goyer keeping him grounded. So far, i'm hooked. I'll be back next week for sure.
