Crank 2-100% pure adrenaline!

Forget Point Break! This movie is a non-stop adrenaline rush. Also forget realism and just enjoy the show. Chev Chelios must keep his battery charged and get the badguys and nothing will stop him. I enjoyed the whole Godzilla scene.

Loved the first flick. The second one was literally more of the same only exaggerated... I haven't decided if this is a good or a bad thing yet ;) But it was very funny!

I just rented this and I had a great time with this flick. I liked most of the stylistic flourishes and sheer nuttiness and just the fact that it wasn't all safe and sanitized.

Just a warning though, this flick is not without some misogynism and racism.

^^
Some?

The film is over the top in every possible way, including overt stereotypes of all kinds. But because the film goes to such excess (way beyond the excess of the first installment), I'm not particularly offended. It's just impossible to take any of this seriously. You can read David Carradine's cameo as either (a) really offensive or (b) unsubtle parody of many of his previous roles. I lean towards the second option.

They slapped together a plot just to have a reason to film him running around for 2 hours breaking shit and acting insane, what part of that would anyone ever take seriously?

How was his heart even a factor? He fell a couple thousand feet onto cement at the end of the last one, if he only has heart problems, he's pretty lucky

This is the most fun movie I've seen all year and just about the only one that didn't disappoint me. I especially loved the Godzilla fight and Bai Ling's character. Even with subtitles, you still can't understand what the fuck she's saying! This movie is like the bastard love child of Quentin Tarantino & Bugs Bunny.

Compared to the first movie this film is absolute unadulterated shit. Which is saying something considering the first film was average at best. It also made the first film look distinctly plausible by comparison.

Also I didn't see the need for the racism, I mean:

"What's that? Fucking Cunt-a-nese?"

Give me a break, who are they trying to impress? Pathetic trash.
