Another bad loss by the Tigers today. It's not helping their playoff chances when they fail to put away last place teams.
That had to be one of the strangest games I have ever seen. It had an in-the-park home run and an unassisted triple play to end it.
Also I think I'd prefer Jamie Moyer in the #5 spot over Pedro Martinez.

your guess is as good as mine! must be a virus in my computer. i saw that as soon as i made my post. i certainly wouldnt put that on here intentionally.your probably right about the angels. they always do spank yanks.btw , boston had better start playing better or the wild card will be out of reach.however, i do realize that they have been hurt by injuries this year.the "whos your daddy " comment was just a tweek! i knew you couldnt resist responding to that.i know you and i have had our moments, but i enjoy our little back and forth debates.Yanks won 2 out of three, but each team scored 29 runs for the weekend, so really wasn't a "who's your daddy" situation, no matter how you'd like to state it. Likely puts the division title out of reach, but as long as the wild card is still available, doesn't REALLY matter. Yankees will just go out west and get spanked by the Angels anyway...
And what's up with the spam link?

I know the feeling- the Twins have a habit of losing to the bottom feeders. But they bucked that trend this weekend and swept Kansas City, so they're not out of it yet. Detroit has the upper hand, but the Twins, Chicago and Detroit all have 6 games to play against each other, so the race for the AL Central title could be tight.Another bad loss by the Tigers today. just a guess on my part. i posted my thoughts and when i did that link popped up out of nowhere.as i said before i have no idea how or why that happened!it's a mystery to me.How could a virus possibly affect a TrekBBS post?
Oh, and good win last night, Yanks.![]()
^I'm actually more worried about the Twins overtaking the Tigers than I am the White Sox. Chicago plays a pretty brutal schedule down the stretch, and Detroit's isn't much better. Minnesota's actually sets up pretty nicely for them to make a run.
The Twins are a good team, and if a non-Tigers team is going to take the division, I would much rather have it be the Twins than the evil Chicago White Sox.![]()

The Twins' schedule may look easier, but they struggle against teams they should do well against.
But if not the Twins, I'd rather see Detroit win. Anyone but the White Sox.
