Remember how Worf was picked to join "Ds9" because they felt he was a TNG character that best fit the tone of "Ds9" even though he was on a show like "TNG" that didn't have much of a edge to it.
If "Universe" is going to be like Battlestar Galatica in tone, which existing Stargateverse characters do you think would best fit that type of show, if they someday want to bring in a character to the show that has already been established? A few that I could think of.
I think Rodnay McKay would fit well. He isn't very PC which I think would transition well to that type of show.
Woosley=Beurcrat types, tend to fit itno any type of show.
Dr Lee=He would be a good fit, in part because he isn't really all that good of a scientist. He isn't going to be like Carter who is a expert on everything.
I forget his name but I really liked that military guy, O'Neil worked with in the ep were Daniel and Dr Lee are in the jungle and the pirates end up becoming zombies. The guy was in "Galaxy Quest" and all sorts of shows.
