By the power invested in me by this post number, I declare the Enterprise to be ~700 something meters long.
I must bow to the winner!!!By the power invested in me by this post number, I declare the Enterprise to be ~700 something meters long.
I would estimate under 10 miles myself.![]()
So I guess in the JJverse the Borg cube will be the size of the Death Star?
Wouldn't it be funny if it would be 50m squared and the drones would all be midgets?![]()

Now that would be funny. They could talk with voices like the munchkins in the Wizard of Oz! Resistance is Futile!

Resistance is futile, just come with me
Mr. Abrams needs to let some of the people here write the next Trek movie, it will make the movie Spaceballs look like a high school play.

You don't have to do anything to SPACEBALLS to make it look like high school, it already does, except for some of the Apogee and Illusion Arts shots.
I like this idea; it's evil.I keep hoping M'Sharek locks the thread at 1700 just to see the outcry in "Moderators Actions".And finally, does this thread lock up at 1,701?

LOL, this is classic...I do declare this thread has decided that the ship is over 700 meters in my opinion, no more debating on my part.....but I will continue to believe in private its both in the movie and cross my fingers hoping against hope it will somehow be smaller, lol...in reality I don't care so much anymore, well done sir. Wish I had been paying more attention to this thread

There are three types of people on this thread:
Person A:
I hate this ship! The size is wrong! There is only ONE 1701 and it’s the one from TOS and it’s 300 meters long!!! Thus this one MUST be 300 meters long or canon is dead! The windows! The escape pod! The bridge dome!
Person B:
The ship is 700+ meters long because the FX people made it that way. It’s a reboot and they can make it however big they want! Person A is dumb not to notice that these numbers are coming FROM THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE FX ON THE FILM – thus it must be 718 meters long!!! Big windows! The brewery! The shuttlebay! JayJay!
Person C:
I don’t care how big the ship is, I just like listing to you all raving about it.
Person C has an opinion of the size of the ship, but won’t bat an eyelid if he turns out to be wrong. But he posts it anyway, increasing the fury of the Person A’s or Person B’s, depending on his choice, which may change up to three times a week.
A few of you go to conventions and stuff, right? Seeing as this argument is never going to end, how about we finish this once and for all – with violence! A team of Person A’s vs. a team of Person B’s, with a Person C as judge outside a convention of your choice. You’re allowed blunt Star Trek-themed weapons only (model Enterprises, plastic phasers etc – no bat’leths!).
Bonus points will be awarded by the judges for Trek-themed attacks like Shatner Rolls, nerve pinches and Chris Pine’s dangling-over-the-edge-of-something’s.
Winning team gets the Enterprise in whatever size they damn well want.
