aussie, I'm surprised that you don't remember the purge.. I was certainly still around for it. If I recall correctly, I ended up being the first poster to hit 10000 posts... and I had to do it twice! 
Oddly enough though, I remember the earlier board periods than the later ones.
And I suspect that Core is lost forever... for those who don't know, Core was a prolific poster on the early board (1999 era)... he disappeared sometime by the end of the year and it became a long-running (10 years!) joke to ask where Core was.

I lurked in early 2001, registered in early 2002, but re-registered in late 2002 when everything went kablooey.

Going through the thread no one remembers me, or are afraid to. Yep, I knew one day I'd be forgotten.
Probably better that way lest there be a resurgence of fighting over the historical details of what did or didn't happen.

Red Quacker and Red Wacker are two different people. Quacker was much more entertaining and I always enjoyed the very creative ways he managed to annoy people. Wacker was one of the founders of TK but doesn't post there anymore.

Under my old name I joined on June 21, 1999. I remember when Miscellaneous was first created.
I remember a lot of these old names. Plus others: Barcode, BlueAloe, TheLogicissary, DEAverification (and wife, iDEA), LizardLaugh, Twain, where'sSaavik...
I might have missed this somewhere... but did you actually say what your old handle was? My memory is a little hazy, but as far back as I can remember, Trek Lit was modded by a good fellow named Tusock... would that be you?
It would make sense if that was you, judging by the names you've brought up... let me add a few: The Lone Ensign, LH, Blueberrie, GeckoBoy, starbys, Cirrus, and now I know that there is tons that I'm forgetting...

I joined December 7th, 1999. Good lord I've been here for 9.5 years?! Wow. I barely remember the early years anymore or who was a regular back then. I will give a shout out to 4-GOM though! I remember we both quit being moderators at the same time for real life reasons. And Katie and Jethro are they still here?

Yu is doing fine but is busy, he's the co-owner of TerranBBS, he married Duracell a short while ago, she's the owner of Terran LOL she sort of stole the board from him

No, your the person who shows up every time I think I've been around here a long time. Although Rob beat you to the punch this time.
I joined in 1999, or 2000 I believe, under Turd Ferguson and I used to post stories under the Fan Fiction forum until I pissed some people off in there in about 2003. So, I reregistered as Johnny Octane for a couple years, then closed that one out and reregistered as Doctor Gonzo, then a couple years ago, I asked to have my name changed back to Turd Ferguson.
