)Me, too. I'd like an order of those, with some fries and a Coke, please. In particular, I love the deflector niblets.

Ain't that the truth. There's a saying that's common in my profession - "there comes a time, in every project, when you just have to shoot the engineer."

... something that feels totally "in-continuity" without just being a cut-and-paste-job.
How much more physical detail do you intend to put into this baby. For me, I look at it and say "it's done." (There's a saying that's common in my profession - "there comes a time, in every project, when you just have to shoot the engineer." That means... we who design things are never quite satisfied, and if given a chance, we'll keep on tweaking things forever!)

Surprisingly, I've never heard that saying. There's a saying that's common in my profession - "there comes a time, in every project, when you just have to shoot the engineer."
Heard many others with similar sentiment, though. The impulse engines are disproportionaly largen and the shuttle deck are entirely to wide IMHO.

Top work.
I like how you managed to capture that 1980s model/miniature look with this mesh.
It's gratifying to have people mention the '80s motion-control miniature feel, since that was my goal. Having it brought up independently without promoting means I must be getting it right.

Again, great little ship you got there.![]()

On to more starship goodness. The mesh is very close to done. There some mesh errors I need to address, and I need to add spotlight fairings where needed, and also detail of some kind to either outer side of the deflector assemblies. But that's probably it. So:
Have at it.

What's to have at besides calling it beautiful? Cuz it is.![]()
