^ Yeah, but she'd grown into being one of the family, and they were looking for ways to keep her on.
Well, they could've just had her living with Frasier while she continues her practice elsewhere. I dunno. It just seems odd. I just watched the 10th season episode where some-sort-of PT "auditor" overlooks Daphne's care of Martin and whent he "auditor" takes over to show Daphne how it's done it just made we wonder. How is it Martin still needs PT and even the cane. (Though it seems like he doesn't rely on it as much.)
I'd prefer Roz. I like her looks, and there's one episode where, when they're talking about the most outrageous things they've done, she whispers hers in Martin's ear, and he just gets up and leaves the room, casting wiorried looks over his shoulder. That sounds like a fun woman!

Yeah.
But, yeah she does have a great, sultry look to her and just like a fun down-to-Earth woman. I think Niles described her best in calling her "comely."
Yeah, just something about her.
Though I wouldn't kick Daphne out of bed.
And one of my favourite scenes: the one with Niles in the apartment by himself, which, iirc, starts off with him ironing a shirt and ends with him passed out and the couc on fire. Buster Keaton would have been proud of it.
Yeah that was a funny scene. He's, presumably, getting ready for a romantic evening with someone (Daphne? Mel?) on Valentine's Day night and he notices a wrinkle in his pants, he pulls out Frasier's ironing board and begins creasing the pants and finds a loose thread. He sets the iron down on the pants and goes to get some scissors to fix the the thread (being careful to walk with the scissors while holding them by the blade) he goes to fix the pants and ends up cutting himself. He passes out from the sight of blood briefly on Frasiers couch and comes-to finding he stained it. He goes to get a chemical stain-remover (all the while the iron is still on the pants) to clean the couch; notices the blood again, passes out again, this time knocking the stain-remover on Frasier's couch. By now the pants have started smoldering, Eddie barks, waking niles up who runs to take care of the fire, getting proppeled wildly around the room by a chemical exstinguisher (hitting everything BUT the fire), eventually, somehow, the pants end up on the couch, which sets the acetone on fire, so Niles puts this larger fire out by dumping the dinner on them, he then goes to open the front door to fan-out the smoke, notices his bloody finger again, and passes out.

One of the funniest episodes, one I remember from when it first aired, the one with Patrick Stewart guest-starring.
