You know I just realized that Scotty & Kirk were also together on that inspection shuttle from the Motion Picture! Maybe it's a HOMAGE?Yup, that's the other possibility. TMP vibes all the way.

Just saw your'e comment M'Sharak, Thanks alot for resizeing that picture for me! I am very sorry you had to do that for me, it's just I am still ''new'' to all this picture posting so I didn't know what to do there! Once again I am sorry for the trouble. They were called screens in TOS, but yes, they did have them.Nice. The Enterprise is getting some damage. I never watched TOS, does the Ent to have shields?
The "death and destruction" line is from another scene on (presumably) a different shuttle. They are wearing different clothing from the red cadet's uniforms seen above.
As an aside, miraclefan, I've put the very large image behind a thumbnail, so that it doesn't stretch the page horizontally. You'll want to keep dimensions for images posted inline to no more than 640x480 under most circumstances, as that doesn't bend the screen out of shape for most people.
Maybe it's the Vulcan of Trek universe Prime? A flashback scene perhaps!?Was that Vulcan getting sucked into a black hole generated from that beam weapon that Nero had, that he is also apparently going to use on Earth?
Twice as big as the original ''E''I just noticed itlooks like before the Kelvin rams the Narada the bridge gets taken out by those fighter things
Also from the 800 lives line either there was another Starfleet ship or base near the Kelvin when the Narada jumps her or the Kelvin is one damn big ship.
Just remember that you're actually posting two images to do it that way:Just saw your'e comment M'Sharak, Thanks alot for resizeing that picture for me! I think Saldana's delivery was fine... the problem is her voice just doesn't sound like the Uhura we're used to.I thought its removal was a shame. While Uhura's line wasn't delivered the best, the followup is what finally convinced me that Chris Pine could really play Kirk.
Yeah I don't understand this assertion. I mean are you an actor/acting critic? How would you have had her deliver the line? Sounded just as good as any other delivery I've seen on a Trek production.
Same goes for Nero if anything from the parts we've seen he's quiet the understated Trek villain.
Sharr
Those naysayers about Saldana's delivery....uve got to be kidding me
She delivered it perfectly...it was absolutely ice cold in its intent, it even made the ultimate boy scout bow down in respect and sheepishly answer "so do I"......and that line by Pine was awesome, it bridged the gap between his bravado and the reality of the situation at hand...a most human moment for Kirk before he goes onto make history
Pure Sex.
I think I just had an orgasm.

Too much emphasis on the "I" at the start of the line, delivered too slowly with too great a focus on the articulation of each word rather than the semantic content of the line as a whole, and yeah, more "Vulcan" than anything we've heard from Spock to date. Given that it was removed from the official release it seems I'm not alone in finding it cringeworthy.![]()
Come on, that wasn't really necessary, was it?...
but i suppose an australian is more versed in the semantic content of shagging matilda![]()
