I thought the music was excellent, but Zimmer will definitely not be doing the score, that honor will fall to Michael Giacchino.
They seem to have cut Uhura's line from this version. The one I saw last night featured a scene with her saying to Kirk "I hope you know whjat you're doing." to which Kirk replies "So do I."
Wonder why they did that...?

Oh and this trailer finslly explains Kirk's NOW! NOW! NOW! line from the Superbowl ad.
As for the other graph ... the KELVIN looks PHYSICAL and present, I can't pay a higher complement, whether it was done with miniatures or CG. I can say it isn't lit quite the way I would, but it looks convincing to me. The other shot I mention of the E does not.
Yeah.... he and several others in the auditorium scene are in the same gray uniforms with gold pins that Pike was wearing in the bar. Interesting...I noticed this on my second viewing of the trailer but it looks like Spock is an Instructor at the Academy when Kirk goes there.

Possibly because the delivery was awful. Uhura's that is, Kirk's reply was fine. I'm hoping that Uhura's line was cut from elsewhere in the film, as it certainly didn't seem to fit there.
Nice catch.
I think Saldana's delivery was fine... the problem is her voice just doesn't sound like the Uhura we're used to.They seem to have cut Uhura's line from this version. I thought its removal was a shame. While Uhura's line wasn't delivered the best, the followup is what finally convinced me that Chris Pine could really play Kirk.
