New Trailer OFFICIALLY Online - HD

Just got back from town, Finally saw the trailer on my computer ( FULLSCREEN) and I have to say, HOLY MOTHER FRACKIN CRAP IN A HAT!! ''THIS'' is the best star trek trailer I have ever seen! And the music (it does sort of have a TDK meets Total Recall Feel to it) was amazing! the trailer gives the movie an ''EPIC'' vibe to it that no other trek trailer has done before! I think I can safely say I will be first in line on opening day! Oh and is it just me? or does Spock ''ram'' his time ship in to Nero's vessal? So does that mean he dies again or what?

AWESOME!!!!! At last, a star trek trailer that gives me the chills. usually, this is a pretty good sign.

anybody knows where's this music is coming from ? I'd like to know !

Yes the trailer trully is AWWESOOOMMME!:D My only fear is that the movie won't live up to it's potential!:(

I don't know that this trailer is better than the last one, although it has some intriguing hooks.

I do know that somewhere between the first pictures of the new Enterprise to the viewing of this trailer, I have gone from hostile to enthusiastic.

Can't wait. Hope it succeeds beyound anybody's wildest expectations. Trek may live on.

Better to frak the canon, than end up a Saturday morning cartoon show.

What's that?

Oh.

Nevermind.

To all those saying the music is from Batman Begins or DK - I'm pretty sure it isn't. You go and have a proper listen and while the underlying rhythm sounds similar, the melody is different.

Nice. The Enterprise is getting some damage. I never watched TOS, does the Ent to have shields?

Edit: Well, apparently there is a screenshot thread.

I must have watched this 100 times already. I really can't believe how awesome that was. This is a HUGE movie and I think it's going to be a massive success.

I'm curious though - why is Leonard Nimoy never shown in any of the trailers? Aside from showing up briefly at the end of one of the earliest trailers, we haven't seen him.

Does he not have a whole lot of screen time in this movie or are they purposely avoiding putting him in?

The answer is probably somewhere in between.

From what little we know about his part in this... him coming back is vital to the plot, even if he isn't a central part of it. It could be that whatever the older Spock does or says would just be a spoiler.

It could also be that they want to show off the new cast and get away from any public geeky perception.

Not long to find out ;)

I haven't read this thread, I just watched the trailer. Holy ... Oh My... I don't even know how to respond. As I watched, I just got more and more fired up.

I have to admit, I was ambivelent about the other trailers, but I was still excited about the movie. Now I need it to be May 8th tomorrow. Seriously.

When McCoy and Kirk are looking out the window together, is it possible they are witnessing the destruction of a planet...?

Or is this where McCoy gets spooked about space and utters his death and destruction line?

Possible, but I think this is where they see the Enterprise before coming on board.

They were called screens in TOS, but yes, they did have them.

The "death and destruction" line is from another scene on (presumably) a different shuttle. They are wearing different clothing from the red cadet's uniforms seen above.

As an aside, miraclefan, I've put the very large image behind a thumbnail, so that it doesn't stretch the page horizontally. You'll want to keep dimensions for images posted inline to no more than 640x480 under most circumstances, as that doesn't bend the screen out of shape for most people.
