Thumbs down for both episdoes. One hour into the season the show already feels very stale. Also the ATC critical system takeover scenario is outlandish even by 24's absurd standards.

We shall see.Voted average for the first two hours. I was underwhelmed. Mind you, the first 4 hours of S6 kicked ass, while the rest of the season sucked it. So I haven't given up hope.
So.... How you going to vote tomorrow?

Yeah, I thought that too. Guess she wasn't as tech savvy. What I don't get is this----when a laptop says "deleting", wouldn't the immediate response be to unplug it and pop the battery rather than attacking the keyboard?

By the way, who played the shady supplier who almost got a pen driven into his skull? That guy looked really familiar.
Edit: Found him. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0281107/ Saw him in Gladiator.

Agent Walker looks like she's gearing herself up to be Jack's protégé. She killed both the tangos on the boat before Jack could even react. She's willing to play fast and loose with the rules while paying lip-service to hesitance and doubt. Hell, it was her who suggested bringing him in and has been pushing for his talents to be put to use.
Agreed. I'll take Janis over Chloe ANY day. Chloe gets on my last nerve. Does that woman even have a pleasant expression? She always looks worried/sad/constipated.Janine Garofalo (sp) is a welcome addition even if, so far, she's like an extreme Chloe Lite.
Thanks to those who mentioned her name, IMDB tells me I knew her first as Diana Bloom in Journeyman's second episode, "Friendly Skies." She played a woman who, in the 70s, gave birth in an airplane 30,000 feet over Lake Tahoe. The FBI lady is hot and also a welcomed addition.
I love Cherry Jones; I think she's an excellent choice to play a convincing female president. I hate that her husband's character is being played up to be her weakness. So far I'm unimpressed witht he White House staff and president, and the dead son subplot.
Put Victor Garber on this show and my head would explode. How does this show manage to pull in so many great actors? It's mind-blowing.I always wanted to see Jack Bauer team up with Jack Bristow from Alias. Two guys who will do anything for an answer.
I can't help wonder if the show isn't taking a bit of a "liberal bent" with Jack admiting that his crimes need to be brought out into the open.

That part kind of surprised me. In all the conservativeness of the show, it was actually quite refreshing seeing that scene. Other than the final scene and Walker, that was probably my favorite scene in the whole two hours.
