into the Dominion, find the WH and get back to DS9. Or at least, gotten ahold of Sisko and fought their way through Dominion hordes to the WH.

Voyager was stranded half a year after the Dominion's destruction of the USS Odyssey and New Bajor.Voyager left and was stranded in the Delta Quadrant before the Dominion was discovered. Hence... could easily have gone there, if shorter. No sign in the episodes they thought about it.
That map is based on an awful lot of assumptions... tho I see the original posters point. Where is the AQ terminus of the WH?
Am I right in thinking that map places the Romulan and Klingon Empires deep within the Alpha Quadrant? I was always under the impression both empires were either well within or at least bordered the Beta Quadrant...
^ He almost places them in the Gamma Quadrant.

Personally I don't agree with many of his assumptions but that's neither here nor there. The AQ terminus of the wormhole would be where the number 4 is, which refers to Deep Space 9.

Oh, right... forgot... *shakes head*
Not sure this helps... but wasn't Voyager flung 70 years away? And didn't the female founder say they didn't expect Odo to get to the Omarian Nebula for 200? If Voyager was 70 years away at warp, then the 200 years would logically be at warp speed too... and the Omarian Nebula is in the GQ, in Dominion space, so from that angle, the GQ terminus to the wormhold may not have been the best way... but I'm speculating.
