Didn't actually fall asleep, but got bleary eyed with a war movie called 'The Thin Red Line'. It was sooooooooo boring, thought it would never end.
Samething happened to me watching that same exact film on pay-per-view last Saturday.I just fell asleep last weekend watching 10,000BC at home. At the cinema, the last time I fell asleep was during Die Another Day. I fell asleep after the car chase on ice and woke up after the final battle scene. Later on, when the movie was on TV, I tried to watch it at home and fell asleep again. To this day I have not seen the end to that movie.
Rifftrax makes this movie much more watchable.Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone ---I didn't completely fall asleep, but the film was so tedious and painful, I wished I could have.
There were any number of ripoffs in that film, but since I haven't seen it in a while and blocked it out of my mind, the biggest one I remember is the scene in which all of the kids are playing some stupid game on broomsticks. The way the scene was filmed and even the whooshing sound effects instantly struck me as a crappy copy of the podracing scenes in Star Wars.
Apparently I'm in the minority on this one, however, as fifty more of these films have been released subsequently. Harry Potter Picks His Nose, Harry Potter and the Funny New Patches of Hair, Harry Potter Learns what his Magic Wand is For, and Harry Potter Makes More Money than Disney are just a few . . .
