More like he was setting up for the next "New Frontier" text-based stories..., or the next IDW mini-series.
we live in a tight economy where I expect some bang in this series not in the next one or a book. I'll not be picking up the next mini-series on this basis.
I enjoyed the conclusion, although some of the art was a bit shaky.
My only complaint is we don't find out what happened to Morgan other than Xy not knowing.
I'll probably read the whole thing again in a few days to get a better feel of the story.
I'm guessing Morgan is dead. PAD said in interviews that one of the New Frontier cast would die in the course of the series, and everyone else is accounted for at the end.
