That video was way too dark and grimy too view properly but there were some things that I liked from it...Tess is really hot which isn't surprising considering we were discussing CW's sex appeal earlier in this thread. Grand Theft Auto Gotham would be supremely awesome if it was ever made.

I agree. I kind wish more superhero games took the lead from what Spider-Man 2 started with the free-roaming around the city. Superman Returns did it, but not nearly as good, clever, or fun.

Doing a Gotham one, would be fucking amazing. Cruise around in the Batmobile. Get bored? Then jump out and grapple up and swing from building to building (or glide if we do Nolanverse Batman).

ATTENTION: GAME DESIGNERS: STEAL THIS IDEA. I SWEAR! I WON'T CARE!! :p

you know I was watching Siren tonight, and obviously Chloe & the Green Arrow were a great pairing, same goes for Lois & the Green Arrow in someways it felt like they should just write out Clark, and have Oliver steal his destiny.

but thats not the problem im posting about, I hope they dont mess up the Green Arrow character, and give him creeping self dobut like they have done with Clark, next season.

its funny the show has really screwed up the Clark character, where normally his upbringing in Smallville is said to be his greatest strength, in this it is his greatness weakness.

Well he's in Metropolis now so we can only hope being in a larger spectrum of influence will help his character. Its too bad that they are so strict on keeping their original motto for the show or else it could be something so much more than it is. I understand totally about doing things differently than the comics, some of what they've done has been cool and interesting but as I've stated others not so much. I did groan when I saw that Ollie would be re-examine himself...what the hell does he have to re-examine? He's been Green Arrow for only a short period of time so far I assume in Smallville's continuity. He can't have been influenced by Clark's inactivty and self doubt that long can he LOL? They seem to set themselves up for tons of potential only too shoot themselves in the foot in the end.

I'd love to see Green Lantern finally make an appearence, Wonder Woman too. Not sure if there are any legal reasons why they can't appear on the show. There are only so many second string DC characters and supporting characters you can use. Hawkman could be interesting if done well.

Anyone else notice that this thread has been started earlier than last year's thread and we had so much more optimisim over last season than we do this season? I remember joining in last year's off season thread around August...lol. I didn't remember it being so depressing lol.

I think they're going to do a Batman Forever/The Dark Knight like storyline with Ollie where he'll wonder if he ever will have a normal life.

Yep that is what I think as well...I'm not sure though its neccessary at this point in his career though. Maybe Lois will figure into this somewhat.

If we are going to be talking about timetravelers... How about Huntress and oracle? They were training black Canaries kid, so that ties straight into the Ollie stuff, if he's the pappy that she wants to see her pa while trapped in the distant past. :)

    Legal quagmire.

^ As much as I would love to see more Birds of Prey I liked how the show was self contained and had a fitting ending. Revisiting it would be a disservice to the series.

The last episode of Birds of Prey, was really the first episode where everything was coming together and jibing and jiving and next was going to be... And that's how sweeps works folkes.

How about getting the voice actors form the cartoon?

I haven't seen Weasly Crusher in front of the camera in ages. That tech internet show of his is/was hilarious. Kari Walgren is gorgeous and calling Celia's husband from Weeds a "Boy" is just hilarious.

We're remiss to exclude Black Canary and Chloe from that congress.

^ Never know. But the only one that fits in the Smallville universe is the Tommy Lee Jones version. Sorry...

I'm looking forward to the Legion showing up. It's been at the top of my list of things I've wanted to see on Smallville. I was always a huge LSH fan especially during the Levitz/Giffen era. This'll be their first live action appearance ever so I''m really stoked. I'm wondering which characters show up. I'm guessing Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl.

Geoff Johns is writing the Legion episode...I wonder if it will be a two parter? Smallville rarely does two part episodes, they like everything to be self contained it seems. I know he is working on the Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds special with George Perez, I'm going to have to go back to my Wizard from last month and see what says about any favourite Legion characters. I just want to see Clark with a Legion flight ring and hope they take his ass to the future and we finally get a glimpse of Superman stuff on this show. It would be neat to see a future Metropolis errrr Vancouver in CGI lol.

Lana is gone now guys so we now have to suffer through "teen" angst in the form of two seperate love triangles which we know the Smallville writers get a kick out of writing. Jimmy/Chloe/and Clark seems like one of them, with David Bloome thrown in the mix, no wonder he becomes Doomsday I would too tolerating this crap all the time! The other branch seems to be Lois/Ollie/Clark ugghhh...can someone save us from this mess? Oh wait...someone is supppossed to save us but he's not quite here yet!!!

While it would be cool to see Clark go to the future with the LSH it's too much of a budget buster I think especially since IIRC the show has a smaller budget than last season.

As long as Smallville airs on the CW you're gonna be stuck with the "teen" angst stuff. Only Supernatural seems to be devoid of it. Everything else on CW has it in spades.
