What TV shows do you miss?

The Invisible Man - I know it's Yet Another Cop Show With A Special Power, but the banter between Fawkes and Hobbes was really great :D

I nearly put that on my list! The relationship between the guys was the best part of that show. :techman:

Enterprise
DS9
Babylong 5
Arrested Development
JAG (I would have liked for the series to continue with the new cast they were introducing)
Law and Order Trial by Jury
Spin City (The Michael J Fox version)
Wonder Years (TIME FOR A TV MOVIE!)
WEST WING
STUDIO 60
CONVICTION

I have to break my answer down into categories.

Shows that got a reasonably good ending, but which could have stayed on the air and remained good, with lots more story to tell:

DS9
Babylon 5
Roswell
Angel
The X-Files

Shows I love to watch in reruns and miss new episodes of, but which would probably have gone downhill if they had continued...so it's good that they got a nicely planned and complete ending:

Seinfeld
M*A*S*H
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Shows which never got an honest-to-goodness fair chance to begin with:

Firefly
Jericho
The Dresden Files

Shows for which the decision to cancel completely robbed old and loyal fans of a completely satisfactory ending, and which I'd therefore like to see brought back for a final season:

Farscape
The 4400

I guess I would want more...

Homicide:Life on the Street
Firefly
Justice League Unlimited

And there is something else I can't put my finger on it......... Oh yeah more Highlander!!! ;)

I've heard that about Dresden Files, its coming up soon on my NetFlix and it makes me want to add Blade:The Series to this list.

Blade was building into a great show. I understand those who weren't hooked into it fully by episode 2/3 but like the other great shows on this list it was building its plot and mythology. Deep Space Nine and X-Files weren't great or favs their first year either.

Blade was going to be great, few saw that though sadly.

Catching reruns of HILL STREET BLUES,man I loved that show.Groundbreaking at the time, and so much subtle social commentary.
Much better than those grim,po-faced forensic shows IMO.

October Road :(

I think people, including Spike TV, wanted some kung fu followed by a little T&A and then some kung fu with cool kill moves, repeat next episode while ignoring everything that happened in the last one. You know, story arcs and multiple character plots are too much for some people to grasp.

I'd like to see more of these:

X-Files
Twin Peaks
West Wing
Voyager
Arrested development
Jericho
Frasier
Veronica Mars

just remembered an obvious one considering what my handle is

Seven Days . . . what a fun show that was :D

ACK!! Just remembered two more:

Quincy ME

and

The Equalizer

I really loved both of these shows!

I was reading a few things a few of you have to say on here and I would like to say that there are oh so many shows that are to be properly missed.....the greats
but I'd like comment on what Aragorn had to say on one hand I agree with you deep character plots and actual story lines are too complex for some I completly agree however on the flip side to that I have to say that sometimes a little mind numbing t&a is necessary. It's like David Cronenburgs movie Crash people watch spike simply becuase sometimes it is way too good to turn away from

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Firefly
The X-Files
The Macahans
Xena Warrior Princess
ST: Voyager

Six Degrees. The best written and acted show ABC has ever had (other than Lost) and they fucked around with it and killed it.

Frasier. I was never really one for sitcoms; but I loved that show to pieces. I still love it to peices. TV humour hasn't been the same since that radio psychatrist broadcast his final show.

I don't know; I think Frasier had a good run and pulled out on a high note. There were rough patches starting to show up in the later seasons as it was; I loved the show too, but wouldn't have wanted to see it become one of those shows that just goes on and on until you wish it would die.

Oh, I agree. It went out at the right time and I'm glad it ended before it got stale. But as the question at the start of the thread suggested the series would hypothetically (if, indeed, improbably) remain at the same level of quality as it had previous been at, Frasier would be my pick.

Also, more to the point, while I'm glad it ended when it did, I still miss it. It was a very good show.
